Great folks and a easy going atmosphere!! This is by far the best place in town. They offer breakfast on the weekends and have the best 2 cooks in Chadron. The owners are awesome people and have created the best bar/restaurant in Dawes County and maybe even Northern Nebraska.

Waitress (Autumn) was very busy, working the whole dining area by herself, but she kept up! Food was very good, portions were large, prices reasonable. We ordered Steak Nachos, Chicken Fried Steak Dinner, Hot Hamburger Steak Dinner, and a cheeseburger. Food was great, atmosphere comforting, service very friendly! Highly recommend!!

The only reason this was a 4 star is because of the lack of cleanliness of the establishment including their restroom at 1 p.m. on a Tuesday, after they’d only been open two hours. First time eating here based on good reviews.
The place looks worn inside. Owners may not be able to upgrade, but it sure needs a facelift. Many of the bench seats have tape on them and tabletops are damaged. Menus are desperately needing replacement. Don’t let the looks of the place fool you…the food was good! Grilled chicken sandwich and french dip were tasty. Fries were crunchy on the outside. Nice variety on menu. Service was decent.

Super food and friendly people. Rib eye was perfect. The owner Joe is a great guy. We must have talked for an hour. Foods fresh not frozen and the portions are big and the price is right. I would highly recommend this place.

Most of the Bad reviews of this place are from old owners! The new owners are amazing! Paul is easily the best cook in Chadron! There’s always a good time on the bar side and always a nice sit down meal on the restaurant side! The burgers, wings, and chicken fried are in my usual rotation! They also have a prime rib special on Fridays!!!
