Grilled chicken caesar pizza was amazing. Garlic knots for the most part delicious, but some pieces were a tad too crispy (not burnt) . A bit pricey, but due to inflation it’s understandable. It still beats other pizzerias I’ve tried in this neighborhood. Would recommend. My parents were also surprised to find great pizza considering it’s even hard to find decent pizza in NY now. Will definitely support this delicious establishment.

Delicious Italian food in town! Try any of the pasta dishes, favorites are the eggplant rollatini and penne vodka. Daily pizza slices like the French fry and chicken tender slices! Yum! Owner and staff are very welcoming and attentive to customers. Made-to-order and nice place to sit down for really good food.

I live in Lyndhurst and only when there on Sunday because of Portnoy’s review. After calling 4 times I ordered through their website (Slice takes their payments) and went in to pick up my order with my son and the guy working there told me he cancelled my Order because he was TOO BUSY! Imagine that, I business cancelling a simple order for a pie & small sub! UNBELIEVABLE! AND worse when I called him out it he was rude as heck. There were just 2 patrons in the place and they were already eating. Too busy…NOT! Rude…Yes! Rated them on the One Bite app too

I have never experienced the type of customer service that I received today. I’ve been to this pizzeria in-person in the past a couple of times and have had no issues with the older guys who cook and cashier.
Today, that changed with a lady name Jade. I had called to get clarification on what kind of pizza it was on the special #3 that I ordered because it didn’t specify what all came on it. The woman Jade answered the phone and I asked a few questions on what comes on it, she then got frustrated with the clarification that I was asking because I have family here who’s allergic to pork.
Then, she went onto and say that she is going to cancel the order because they are “ busy”. I then expressed my frustration and she started deflecting and saying that it’s “ New Years”. I then told her that I will make sure that I will expose this terrible unprofessional service that I received from her on all platforms. So, if you see a flutter of 5 stars reviews after this, just know that it’s fake to try and offset this one star review that I’m writing that I wish I could make a 0 star instead.

Last year the subs were good, but since, the Quantity on the subs has taken a nose dive.
Even after combining the sub in half, the amount of tuna was arguably too little for the price. There was less than half of a small can for the entire sub.
While the prices remain lower than the standard $10+ It would be much easier bringing the price up $1.50, and having a customer be satisfied with the meal rather than to feel a bit shafted.

I visited Josie’s with my two kids, a 7yo and a 5yo. Service was nice and efficient. The cheese pizza was average, kids ate it but nothing to write home about. I had the portabello wrap, it was a nice option with a nice chunk of cheese though it had a few mushrooms in my opinion.
Overall a reasonable choice if you drive through town though I doubt we will visit again.
