Menu is somewhat limited but the food is good. Awesome, full bar area with draft beer and specialty cocktails and more. Situated on Lake Murray with awesome atmosphere and views. Service was someone slack. We think they forgot about our party and we had to ask about our table. Service was good once we got a table. Atmosphere is better than the food, but the food was good.

I don’t think I’ll be going back. There were a lot of issues and I can’t tell if it was the fault of the waitress, the management, or the kitchen. But for starters, the wait time for our waitress to come to our table was long. Long enough that we were able to look at the menus, figure out what we wanted, and then lookup the menu for the restaurant across the street and considering if we should just go there instead.

I also had two children with me but I think my waitress actually gave them adult meals and drinks. I noticed their cups were the same as my own, while other kids at other tables had smaller Styrofoam cups. One of my kids orders also came out wrong. But I’m not sure if it’s just that the waitress couldn’t hear us clearly. I did notice that the music was uncomfortably loud.

The food itself was good. I really liked the shrimp kabob appetizer, and the fish & chips came out alright, except I was not expecting the spiral fries. The menu was not quite was I was hoping for though. I was hoping for some more shrimp options, like a simple fried shrimp basket. All together my bill came out to about $100 for two kids and two adults. But with the overall experience, I didn’t feel it was worth it.

Lastly, they have a “no concealed carry” sign. Not something I would expect from a restaurant that has signage up that they support veterans and military.

5/5 Stars! Huge congratulations to Martin’s Landing Bar and Grill on their soft opening!

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning lakefront bar and grill, and we were blown away by the beautiful architecture and breathtaking views of Lake Murray. The outdoor seating area is perfectly designed to take in the serene surroundings, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

But what really impressed us was the delicious comfort food menu! From classic burgers to tasty sandwiches and salads, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The quality of the food is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable.

What we loved most about Martin’s Landing is that it’s a family-friendly establishment. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families with kids or for anyone looking for a casual, laid-back dining experience.

Overall, we’re so impressed with Martin’s Landing Bar and Grill, and we can’t wait to come back and try more of their mouthwatering dishes. If you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy good food, good views, and good company, look no further! Congratulations again on your soft opening, and we wish you all the best for a successful future!

Food was okay. I had their “Award Winning” shrimp and grits. It was good, but not great. Service was good. Lots of room for large parties. Easy entry and lots of parking.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and the view of the lake from every seat. They allow pets and have live music and karaoke! Definitely a great new spot on the lake. The calamari appetizer was a bit small but the sauce with it was delicious and the bucket drinks were absolutely delicious but did not seem very strong for as big as they were.
OVERALL….It’s beautiful and I absolutely cannot wait to go back and see what all they have improved on as they are very new. However the management is very attentive! Just ask for Amber. She’s open to constructive criticism as they are trying to make the place better for all of us. Yay! Good luck guys ! We are so happy to have you

This is hands down the worst place to get food on the lake. I’ve given it multiple chances and the food is horrible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again a year later, and they were out of burgers. Keep in mind, 75% of their menu consists of burgers. We ordered the calamari and it tasted nothing like calamari, more like lake Murray fish. I would recommend walking the extra 300 feet up to nacho margarita if you are hungry on this side of the lake.

We had such a great dinner at Martin’s Landing! The lake view was beautiful, and Annette made the whole experience even better. She was super friendly, gave awesome recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was delicious, but her service really stood out. Thanks, Annette, for making our night so enjoyable!

Let me start with the positive. The dry rub wings were delicious. Salads looked amazing. Server was awesome. Now the negative. They were out of many items. The mashed potatoes were instant (we know because there were huge dry clumps in them). The “crispy” brussell sprouts were frozen on the inside. The “key lime pie” looked like cheesecake, tasted like lemon meringue and was way too wet and runny. The cheese sticks were still cold in the middle. The burger came out with cheese after being ordered (and written by server) as no cheese due to health reasons. All of this is absolutely fixable for future customers. They have a lovely place here with lots of cute turtles hanging out in the water off the deck. It’s a beautiful location and our server was super nice. It’s just frustrating when you have a group of seven and only one of those seven had nothing wrong with their food.

Have been about 4 times and always enjoyed it. The food seems to be improving but there are several issues that continue to detract from an otherwise fantastic venue.

Bar continues to be understaffed and disorganized. They still can’t seem to keep a running tab accurate. We had 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks. They charged us 4 mixed drinks(?). Staffing issues can be understood to some degree, but they are surely loosing money on the bar chaos.

From about 3:30 until sunset, the nice porch area is a sun scorched inferno. No fans, no sun shades, no misters, nothing. People have dragged tables around the bar (which was closed on July 3 with a packed restaurant??) to get out of the sun.

I will be back, but I still miss the fun we had at the old Buffalo creek. Even though the facilities were bad before they sold, they had their act together.

Final comment, the staff at Martins is not the issue. I have been impressed with nearly all of them. But they surely get tired of having to apologize for delays and errors. I truly hope things improve but I’m starting to wonder.

We had such a fantastic experience here, and a big thanks to our wonderful waitress, Annette! She was so welcoming and her recommendations were spot-on. On her advice, I had the shrimp and grits, and they were absolutely out of this world! The entire vibe is warm and friendly. We will definitely be back to see Annette and try the game day specials. Highly recommended!
