Cozy atmosphere, decorated for Christmas. Plenty of seating, nice and bright. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive, food came out fast and was really good. Philly cheesesteak, blackened fish sandwich, oyster sandwich, and smash burger were all excellent. Would absolutely return.

My wife and I were looking for a quick stop for dinner and Island House did not disappoint. She had the double smash burger and some of the best coleslaw she has ever had. I chose the Philly cheese steak and onion rings. Probably one of the best I have ever come across. Of course the picture was taken after I started eating (seems to be a habit). Definitely worth a stop. I already have 3 other sandwiches I need to try! Please support this local business!

10 out of 10! Island House just had its grand opening today, and I have been missing a place just like this on the island. Locally owned and operated! Welcoming and friendly environment! AMAZING FOOD! Street tacos, smash burgers, BLTs, grouper sandwich, pimento cheese/chicken sandwich! I can’t wait to work through the menu! Everyone in my party enjoyed the food and I couldn’t be happier to support a locally run business!

Came in for a quick bite to eat for lunch, and had an excellent experience! Our waitress Ebony was very kind and helpful, and was absolutely working her butt off as the only one on the floor taking orders, delivering food, and cleaning up.
The food was excellent, I had the street tacos!

Stopped in and had the Philly cheesesteak and fries which was phenomenal! My 7 year old usually gets a box to carry home; well he didn’t this time. He got the classic cheeseburger. Great family spot and had an advertisement for some good live music! Do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

This spot was incredible! Our food was delicious. I got the Palmetto Chicken Sandwich and my wife got the Turkey Swiss Delight Sandwich, which were both excellent choices. Service was also super friendly, highly recommend this new spot to check out.

What a delicious restaurant! We found this restaurant searching for highly rated local food, and I can say Island House has earned its ratings. The atmosphere was cozy and casual. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They were super attentive to all our needs. The food was outstanding! We tried the hush puppies (delicious cinnamon sugar butter), crispy oyster roll, blackened fish sandwich, double smash burger, and the cheesesteak! Everything came out together and was phenomenal! Excellent portions too! We will definitely be back!

Tried the double burger here and it was so good I had to come back to work my way through the rest of the menu. Came back for the chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint, just as amazing. Great lunch spot with solid food all around and an even better family running it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re on the island!

Visiting HH from Colorado and stumbled on this place for lunch. The fish and chips were really good. And the coleslaw was some of the best I’ve had. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and the meat was delicious! But the star of our lunch was the “taters”. Especially dipped in the starter sauce lol. We highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
