The gyro was absolutely delicious. It only got 3 stars for atmosphere because my husband and I were the only people in there eating and the employees spoke kind of loud but I blocked them out and truly enjoyed the best ever gyro. Highly recommend getting the Ahmos gyro.

Ive been coming to this location for over 10 years and Ive always loved their food, today was a bit different. It had been a year or so since I last came in so I made a stop and noticed it was pretty quiet for being the middle of lunch time. I ordered my usual Ahmos gyro combo, with nothing added to it the total was $19. The food was fine but this is barely above fast food quality, I can go down the street to blackrock and spend less for a steak at an actual restaurant. I looked at the recent reviews and it looks like the raised prices almost 30% in the past couple months, I know its Ann Arbor but I cant imagine theres a ton of people willing to spend $20 on something like this regularly. Its probably contributing to why there were 3 people in the dining room instead of a line to the door like it used to be…

When in Ann Arbor and craving Mediterranean food, this is our go to spot; probably driving by a half dozen other Mediterranean restaurants to get to this one. It is counter service, so not fancy, but great food and excellent customer service. Neither of which have let us down.

I started coming here more after Kouzina’s closed in downtown Ann Arbor. Today was my first time visiting this location, and I asked for zesty feta on my gyro instead of tzatziki. The cashier says it has to be together and the tzatziki can’t be removed, and then proceeded to go in circles with me about whether it was a cheese (him) or a cheese sauce (me). Soon I decided maybe they had just gotten rid of it, so I gave up and told him never mind. With 1 min til my uber arrived, the cashier suddenly came outside and showed me a cup of zesty feta, saying: “is this what you were talking about?”
I go: “Yes! That’s the sauce!”
He replies, “It’s cheese.”
Then goes back inside.
So basically I wasted money on an uber round trip and still didn’t get to order anything lol.

Local family owned business good Mediterranean food. Not as traditional is most a great quick meal, kid, friendly, and his next to lovely Arabic food market to pick up items to go.

Ordered take out for the 2nd time today, because I believe everyone deserves a 2nd chance. I won’t be ordering again.
I ordered a large Greek salad with double gyro meat and instead got chicken, and what looks like a a single serving. There were only 4 olives in the entire salad, and only 3 cherry tomatoes. The cucumbers were only slivers, and not full slices, and there was maybe at most 6 or 8 little slivers.
Oh, and they left an inedible lettuce heart in the salad.
At the prices they are charging, I expected much more than what I was given. And that is for the 2nd time…their gyros sandwich is the smallest gyro sandwich I’ve ever seen, and more expensive than most ($9 for just the sandwich, no fries)
Anyway, I won’t be back.

It was my first time trying the food. My son and I got the chicken shawarma bowls and hummus. I thought everything was pretty good. The hummus was very creamy, but almost slightly too thin for my son. It reminded him of a tangy mayo, which I could relate to as well. It wasn’t nasty, just different than what we usually get at other places. The garlic sauce was great. We would eat here again. It was also pretty quick to be ready.

Before we arrived here, we called in advance to inquire if the food was halal, upon which the cashier/waitress confirmed. So we went ahead and ordered a lamb gyro and a chicken and lamb gyro. Our food was delicious, and we really loved it, but while we were casually browsing through the menu, I realized they did not have halal written anywhere on the paper. So my husband went back to confirm if the food was halal, to which the cook said only their chicken is halal. I feel that the staff should communicate this specification when they answer their calls. For people with religious food preferences it would make things easier.
They did a great job at maintaining social distancing requirements, and cleanliness!

Ordered two gyro bowls for takeout Friday evening. The meat was extremely dry, looked like jerky it was so dried out. There was only a thin layer of rice in the bowl, nothing like they used to be. This is the 2nd time I have had a bad experience at this location within the last few months. Used to be our go to especially because it’s so close to home but the quality of food is nothing like it used to be! Definitely will not be patronizing this location anymore!
