Really good food! I got the sesame chicken combo and it came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. There was enough food for me to split it up into more than one meal. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Saturday lunch adventures brings my son and I to the Rainbow Chinese Restaurant in Brewer, Maine. Located at the shopping center, 415 Wilson Street. Definitely at a prime location. The dining room is located directly as you walk in. So if it is hot, cold, windy, raining or snowing that may effect your dining experience. The room decor was very nice and good seating. Bathroom had a closed sign on the door. There was plenty to choose from on the menu. Had the sweet & sour chicken with egg roll & pork fried rice. No silverware or real plates. Plastic utensils and paper plates. No napkins but comes with the meal. The chicken finger meat texture felt processed and the rice, blah. Sweet and sour sauce fair and duck sauce totally awful. Together my son and I gave this place barely ⭐⭐⭐’s. Folks, it was definitely an experience and if you are in the area stay away from this one, lol!

We’ve been looking for an Asian restaurant since moving here a year ago. We are very happy to find this place. The food was spot on, delicious, seasoned correctly, with generous scallops and shrimp. The folks there were so nice, customer focused.

Mediocre at best. Small portions, and OK taste. Definitely not the worst I’ve had; but have had much better for the same price. Ordered a small chicken lo mein. Had 3 pieces of chicken in it, and a container filled maybe 1/4 of the way. Would recommend going elsewhere if you’re craving Chinese.

My daughter and I ate here for lunch. We had the combo plates. The portions were huge. For $8 each we had as much as we could possibly eat and then took home enough for dinner as well! The food was freshly prepared, hot, tasty, not greasy. The food has flavor and it pleased my VERY picky daughter! The service was fast, and courteous. We will definitely be returning again soon!
