One Waan is the best!!! My partner and I have been coming here since around 2017/2018 when we were living nearby. Now, we live about 25 mins away from the city but still come here for dates. We love the pad Thai and crab rangoons. They also offer Thai craft beers which is super rad. The owner Alex and his staff are so sweet too. Go check them out!

The food is decadent and delightful! Everything we had was cooked to perfection and we were stealing from each other’s plates. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive on a quite night. While it was alittle more than I wanted to pay for a low income casual night out it is an absolute gem if you’re doing a date night!

Oh! And this spot is directly across from a bart stop. And has a beautiful sprawling park next door.

I will absolutely be returning! ขอบคุณ!

Meeting friends at Glen Park for lunch, this restaurant is a great option. It’s not too noisy, easy access by BART (right across from the station), street parking is not challenging and it is not difficult to get a table. People who worked there were pleasant and happy to serve. Every dish looks beautiful (see photos attached),

We ordered drinks, Larb Gai, Satay, Drunken noodles, One Waan curry noodles, Spicy cat fish and rice. My favorite was Drunken Noodles with Beef. They use Angus beef. It was juicy and cooked just right. Other dishes were great as well. But I have had too many Pad Thai so this would be my favorite noodle
dish.

With the positive experience we had @ One Waan,I highly recommend this place. And definitely, we will be back again.

Keep up the great work.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, tasty food, and great food presentation!

We went all in on green curry, and first got the one Waan curry noodles, which were very flavorful!

We asked for chili sauce, and they brought out the best chili plate we’ve seen at a Thai restaurant, featuring three distinct options (prik pon chili powder, chili sauce, and cut Thai chilis)

With all of that in hand, we also ordered the green curry fried rice! The fried was good, though not as great as the noodles

Everyone there was always smiling, checking in on and us, and collectively waved bye to us on the way out, which gave a warm feeling all around!

This place is a gem!!
The service is excellent. We got seated right away despite it being a busy night. The food didn’t take long to come out.
There’s so many options to choose from!
We had the chicken satay, angel wings, papaya salad, yellow chicken curry, the mango curry with pork, pad sée ew, pad thai and for dessert( yes, please make room for dessert) the Exotic Bomba and Mango sticky rice.
The presentation is so beautiful. A delight to the eyes and also the taste is exquisite!
We can tell that the ingredients are fresh and premium quality. So glad we found this place! We will be back for sure!

If I could add stars I would. We have visited many, many times and have never been disappointed. Plain and simple just outstanding food presented with an artistic flair and attentive service. Do yourself a favor jump on BART, get off at Glen Park Station, cross the street an be prepared to be amazed!

Elevated Thai Cuisine in Glen Park!

I can’t believe we live so close and we are just getting to know One Waan. We’ve been there five times in the last couple of months. We have managed to just scratch the surface of their menu (about 10 different items) and EVERYTHING has been OUT OF THIS WORLD! The presentation of the food is spectacular nothing short of a beautiful painting with every dish offered. Every item we have tried were absolute flavor bombs. Further elevating the experience was the service, Alex explained the preparation, ingredients and techniques involved in some of his dishes and Nelson our waitperson was very gracious and knowledgeable about the dishes we enjoyed. Do yourselves a favor and put One Waan on your dinning list soon. You will be very happy you did! Truly a great restaurant!!!!

Fantastic Thai food with great staff. The lunch portions are still plenty large and are discounted from dinner prices.

Ordered the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) extra spicy – they absolutely delivered on the heat.

I will definitely be returning time and again.

Slow service and poor value for money.
This restaurant has difficulty handling rush hour. The food is ok, but portion sizes are very small for what your pay. They attempt to compensate for this but adding extravagant garnishes, which make accessing the food difficult.

A beautiful spot right off Glen Park bart to grab some yummy thai food. It was my first time trying out this delicacy and I must say it was worth it! The service was friendly and timely as well as the food. It has that neighborhood well loved feel while still giving a fine dining experience. 10/10 reccomend

I came in to One Waan and ordered, and let them know I have a gluten and a soy allergy when ordering. When I got home, I was plating up my food, and realized that there was a big chunk of fried tofu on my plate! Fried tofu is soy, and is also not safe for a gluten allergy unless fried in a separate fryer from any items containing gluten. It was not listed on their menu as an ingredient in my order. I have celiac disease, so the fried tofu had cross-contaminated my entire plate, including my other food.

I contacted One Waan to let them know there was fried tofu in my order, and they were shockingly rude and argumentative about their mistake. I am a Black woman, look young, had just come from roller skating and was in street clothes–this was a racist micro aggression (honestly, a macroaggression).

They said there was no tofu in the order, then they said that the tofu was gluten free, then they said (angrily!) that no gluten free customers ever complained about the tofu–implying that I was lying about the issue. I was trying to explain that I have allergies, and that regardless of whether they think it’s safe for people with celiac disease (it absolutely is not) I’m also allergic to soy, I told them that when I ordered, and tofu is soy.

Instead of owning their mistake and offering to make it right, they argued with me and subjected me to racism. After at first saying there was no tofu in my order, they later said there is always tofu in this food, anywhere you ever go there will be tofu in it–which is both a lie and also for some reason they were acting like I’ve never had Thai food before. Baby, WHAT? I speak 4 languages, went to an ivy league college, and ordered $70 worth of food because I wanted a lil snack. Miss me with acting like I’M the uninformed one in this interaction. Y’all are the ones who served tofu to someone who can’t have SOY.

When they finally said they would remake it, I said, Okay, thank you for remaking it for me–and they HUNG UP ON ME.

The neighborhood One Waan is in is not always friendly to Black people, and apparently One Waan is no exception. Their whole response was unprofessional, rude, and ridiculous. They made a mistake that could have made me VERY sick, and acted like I was trying to get free food out of it. They ultimately remade my food, but not after making me wade through racism–I would say that trade off is NOT a fair one. I wish I had just asked for a refund because even my remade food was filled with half bean sprouts.

I’m disgusted by the way the folks here acted. They were nice to my face when I came back to pick up the remade food, but that doesn’t hide the racism in their assumptions and their treatment of me on the phone. Honestly, it makes it worse–it shows me they knew better and could have done better, and they still CHOSE to treat me that way.
