Really liked this American ice-cream Parlour and the Black Cherry ice-cream I had was very tasty and delightfully creamy. The single scoop portion size for $5 was generous. My only dislike is that you can’t see the ice-cream flavours that are on offer which to me is always part of the ‘which flavour’ decision making journey.

I have to drop by and give this Oberweis a review. This location is very clean and spacious. Only ONE worker here, his name was Nicholas F. His customer service was phenomenal! He was amazing working under the pressure of lots of people waiting in line yet reminding each and every customer that he will be right with us and apologizing about the wait to every customer as their turn approached. He needs a raise, a praise, and a day off lol. Wonderful person, I wish he would’ve have someone else to help with this line as it was a beautiful day today so it called for ice cream

Got here around 8:30pm, there were a few customers in front of us but everything went quick and smooth. The employee who took our order was patient and explained what certain items were. We ultimately decided to share a apple crisp sundae. The employee gave us option of more ice cream or more apple.

I am writing to inform you of a pending lawsuit.
On 03/23/2025I visited your establishment with my one-year-old and four-year-old children to purchase ice cream. After waiting in line for 25 minutes, I was charged for three items. Upon arriving home, I discovered that my order was incorrect and missing an item.
When I returned to inquire about the discrepancy with the same employee who served me, Emran, who identified himself as the owner, became confrontational and attempted to fight me. The police were called, and my money was eventually refunded. During this incident, my one-year-old child was left in the car and nearly suffocated due to the delay.
I am currently at Lutheran Hospital with my one-year-old. Once we are discharged, I will document everything and provide it to my lawyer. I will not tolerate this disrespect, especially as it endangered my one-year-old child.
I look forward to seeing how Mr. Emran will handle this situation.

They have very friendly and knowledgeable employees there. And of course, Oberweis is the most awesome dairy product I’ve ever encountered! My favorite ice cream is Sweet Lemon Raspberry! Yummy!

Oberweis ice cream is always amazing, but the customer service at the Rolling Meadows location really missed the mark. I received a spoiled milk in my weekly delivery — the date on the cap was still valid — yet the store refused to exchange it without a receipt. For a company known for quality, I expected better flexibility and accountability.

The manager here, Imran, is awful. He is overall rude and disrespectful not only to customers but to employees as well. A truly disappointing, shameful, and disgusting manager. My heart goes out to the poor victims (employees) forced to put up with your actions daily, may they someday find peace. I look forward to the day Oberweis is no longer under your tyrannical and ridiculous leadership. Hell, once you’re gone maybe I’ll even stop by for an ice cream cake to celebrate.

Certainly not the experience we were expecting to receive as accustomed to other stores. The wife and I order two Banna Royales, from our opinions they were poorly made, her bowl contained very little ice cream. The young man that delivered them actually slid them to us, nor did he stay to verify this was our order or was it correct. Lastly, when we first arrived we needed the rest room facilities, they were absolutely filthy. We notified a worker of the condition of the restrooms, he said he’s on it. Our seats were next to the restrooms and for 35 minutes not one representative came to check or clean the restrooms. Totally disappointed and unacceptable.

gramma aka “paula” was a very rude person when she came to attend to us. i’ve been coming here since i was a baby, and iv never encountered such a insolent individual. she’s talking to all customers in a rude way; making us seem she’s obliging us to be service. which she is not. i hope this can be fixed, as i don’t want my opinion of a longstanding franchise i’ve loved for ages to be ruined.
