Spacious and very trendy café with a great atmosphere. The cortado is excellent and definitely the highlight of my visit. I also tried the chocolate croissant—while it looked beautiful, it fell a bit short in taste, as it was dry and lacked the rich, buttery flavor I was hoping for. That said, I’d happily return for the cortado alone.
I haven’t tried any of the breakfast or lunch dishes. It is great that opens at 7 am!

The coffee was really good — rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. ☕✨

I forgot why I didn’t like Prime Coffee after the first time I visited, but now, I remember.
Awfully overpriced items. I spent $17.74 on a ‘double shot’ (see pic) and two pastry items. The Neapolitan and eclair were so stale, I couldn’t get past the second bite and threw them in the trash. The ‘double shot’ espresso they gave me were less than two sips! Less than 2 oz of liquid. I even had to ask when I received the order if she gave me so shots.
I poured them into a glass cup so you guys be the judge.
Aside from the decor of the cafe, I don’t recommend visiting this place. Starbucks would’ve given you a stronger cup of coffee that’s worth your money.

It is so nice to have a place for a special breakfast and more. The pistachio croissant was nothing short of decadent. The cappuccino was not as strong as I like but was piping hot and fresh. The earthenware, sleek tiles, and high ceilings give this place a luxurious feel while remaining relaxed. This is a good spot for treating yourself or just getting away from the usual. I would have rated my visit with five stars, but there was only one cashier and one runner available on a holiday weekend. They did their very best, but the wait for coffee was 20 minutes although only one person was before me in line. Nonetheless, the service was pleasant. I would be happy to return and try more items from their interesting menu.

Prime Coffee and Bakery is a gem in the heart of downtown Silver Spring. The space is filled with natural sunlight, making it bright, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing or getting work done. The atmosphere is calm, modern, and consistently clean, which makes the experience even better.
The food is outstanding. The smoked salmon sandwich is easily my favorite fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the desserts? Their tres leches cake is one of the best I’ve had moist, rich, and not overly sweet.
What truly elevates the experience is the staff. The servers are attentive, energetic, and genuinely pleasant, always on point without being overbearing. You can tell they care about both their customers experience.

My first time coming here and I loved it! It’s so bright and cute inside, with plenty of seating inside and outside. Everything on the menu looked great. I got the bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on a croissant and it was perfect! My iced mocha with oat milk was the right balance of sweet and creamy, while not overpowering the coffee flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the pastries and desserts, which looked divine!

Been going here since it opened. Prime has three things going for it — ample seating & natural light, excellent baked goods especially cakes, and very good cappuccino served in real ceramic cups. The setting is attractive because you can quietly read, chat with a friend, work, or just people-watch out the large glass panes looking out onto the street. Nice outdoor sitting patio as well. Plus point –get bills and gifts mailed out next door at USPS & good bike parking.

Prime Coffee & Bakery is a wonderful spot in Silver Spring with excellent cakes, tasty food, and consistently great hot drinks. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is warm, modern, and very inviting—perfect for meeting friends, working, or just relaxing with coffee.
The only downside is that there are very few servers, so you usually have to place your order yourself and wait a bit longer than expected. That said, the quality of the food and drinks, combined with the great ambiance, more than makes up for it. Overall, it’s a great place and definitely worth visiting.

The atmosphere, design, and food were absolutely amazing. The best aspect was the service. Rose handled all my questions and suggested some great omelet options that were spot-on. Her friendliness and attention to detail really made the experience memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

I walked by while on my way to lunch and thought the cafe aesthetics is really pretty and modern looking. Didn’t expect to see that in this area. The block around the corner on Georgia on the way to the cafe felt very shady and I felt unsafe. That itself might deter me from visiting this cafe alone.
The pistachio latte at 50% sweetness was pretty good, but I think I might try even less sweet next time. The tiramisu was very different from what I normally eat. It was on a heavier and creamier side. I prefer my
Tiramisu lighter.
