Great place to hang out with an early morning coffee from the Bistro or to relax and unwind near the fireplace following an awesome outdoor experience. Stayed at the resort recently for a company event, and we found ourselves gathering here for drinks and small plates before, after and in-between meetings. Located in the new Hotel Alpenrock across from the base of Peak 9 and a short walk from downtown, I highly recommend stopping in (even if you’re not a hotel guest). The note from our kind server was an added bonus before we took off on an eBike ride.

My friends and I had the best time here during our stay!! The food is good, the drinks are great and the service is spot-on. We loved our bartender Chris who took care of us on our last night at the hotel. He makes amazing drinks and talked and laughed with us all night. I highly recommend coming here for a stay and to eat/drink!

Veggie Sandwich with Broccolini – incredible! Never tasted such a wonderful, open faced vegetarian sandwich. The broccolini pared very well (ordered instead of fries)
Garden Pizza – full of flavor, perfectly baked, a hint of heat. Absolutely will order again
Squash Ravioli – tasted great. Well seasoned. Could have included a side salad or bread.
Cobb Salad (add chicken) – fantastic! Great dressing and the pork belly was a sensational accompaniment.
Chicken Sandwich with Fries – fries were the all star as they were crisp and well seasoned. Sandwich was diner quality. Not bad, but not what I expected from this venue.
Breakfast Burrito – good, not great. Overboard on cheese as potatoes had it on top and the burrito had it in the outside.
Mountain Mushrooms Pizza – missing flavor. Piled with mushrooms and caramelized onions. Just doesn’t taste like anything.
Local Legend Pizza – so so. The pizza was a little greasy and tasted as if there was too much cheese (yes, believe it). Well baked. Good sauce and toppings
Bruschetta – above average. Tomatoes were wonderful. Small slices of bread.

Great place to stop by for a drink. Awesome bar area with a good vibe for meeting friends and fellow travelers. Bartender was great – plenty of beer options and he recommended a pilsner that was perfect. Other guests were having food which looked fantastic.

The apres menu at the carter is delicious! The bruschetta is a must and the kensho drink is my favorite! I cannot wait for this winter when I can visit again. The bar is gorgeous and the price point for a higher end casual cuisine is so much better than the usual junkie tavern food. I was thrilled to have more options other than french fries and grease bombs. Their smash burger is top notch!

Awesome bar and restaurant inside the new Alpenrock Hotel. Perfect place for lunch, après, dinner, or just a cocktail to end the night. The food was delicious, and sipping an Old Fashioned by the big cozy fireplace was the highlight. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Breck!
