Food selection is sometimes iffy. It’s essentially just a smaller Oaks with reported cases of food poisoning. The breakfast can be better or worse than the oaks, just depending on the day. The dessert bar can be great though let me tell you what, especially for the breakfast. I basically only go here for breakfast. They also have an allergen free place.

The new model is pretty bad. There are lines at popular stations so it can take a while to get your food. You can no longer customize so you get what they give you. Salad bar is comical with slices of American cheese?? Couldn’t find staff at every location, they need to iron out the kinks.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Carillon Place. As someone who can’t eat gluten or dairy, their EliminEight (food with none of the 8 major allergies) station has kept me from going hungry so many times. As a transfer from UT, i know how lucky we are with our on campus dining halls. Every single worker i have ever come across has been friendly and helpful. It is pricey though tbh

I was visiting BGSU for my soon to be graduate. Very dissatisfied! We got full on salad. I had to feed my family upon my return to Cleveland. No chicken. The beef was dried out. Salad bar ok. New mgmt needed.

The food was okay but not very flavorful. The staff was wonderful and polite, but could barely get around, and the lines were crazy some went out the door.

The food options depend upon the day, some days great other times not so great. Always a great place for breakfast and is open before classes start for the day. Usually do not have as much trouble finding a place to sit compared to the Oaks.

The meat is almost always dry, the food usually doesn’t taste good, and the desserts are hit and miss. They could do so much better. Gordon Ramsay would be disappointed.

The better of the two All-You-Care-to-Eat establishments, you can never go wrong with anything here. The dessert selection is way better here than it is at the Oaks.

It is much better than the Oaks, but it is disappointing that students are paying almost $2,000 for 3 months of consistently cold food.
