Trash all over the floor, trash cans overflowing, food at every seating area.
8 workers, 5 customers and cleanliness seems to be off no concern.
Thankfully I have many years of experience eating in dumps, hellholes throughout the world. I was hangry and could also use a good cleansing so I braved it.
I’m not joking about the trashyness though.
A Orange New Jersey Health Placard is issued when a place is Conditionally Satisfactory. Meaning There are major violations or numerous minor ones that need immediate correction, but health department allows temporary operation.
I honestly was l expecting a rat to walk out and start eating off the floor.
Waiting on an unneccessarily long line because they have one person preparing meals while two others stand at the register doing nothing.
We finally make it through the line only to find nearly all the tables are filthy, most of the juices at the juice station are empty, and the manager is doing nothing about it.
While eating the prep line clears, we finish our food only to find all of the gargage cans overflowing while three people are standing at the register doing nothing while the manager sits at the table behind us eating chips as tables remain filthy and the garbage canse are overflowing. Sadly, Chipotle doesn’t seem to care about feedback as we told them about the last incident and nothing has changed. Definitely seek out another Chiptole store.
I’ve never encountered such a rule and behavior from Chipotle employees in the USA. High chairs are designed for the safety of toddlers, and it’s perplexing that they would ask us to seat our child on a high table without a high chair. This doesn’t seem very welcoming.
If the staff is eager to go home on Sundays, perhaps they should consider adjusting the store hours to close at 8:30 pm instead of 10 pm, or offer additional compensation to the employees so they can provide service until closing time. It’s important to balance business needs with customer service.
This is not just any local restaurant; it’s a significant Chipotle outlet. I hope the management takes note and addresses this issue for the benefit of both customers and employees. On a positive note, there’s plenty of free parking available for cars.
They were fun and made sure everyone was taken care of in a quick and efficient manner. They seemed to have a great time working and interacting with their customers! I’ve got to give a shoutout to Maddie, Sergio, Sathy, and Genesis for a great experience
The food here was great and just what we needed before a Jersey wedding in 95 degree weather.
