Honestly I was a little bit disappointed. I’d been excited to try this place and had heard great things. I got the blackened chicken sandwich and it had nearly no flavor. Tasted like a plain chicken breast with no seasoning. Was pretty disappointed but might go back to try something else.

We came here on President’s Day, and although there was only one girl working the entire restaurant, her customer service was exceptional, she was extremely patient, and the food was phenomenal. We hope to see her the next time we come by. Some of the best fried chicken I have had in a while!

Great find, after driving by many times, made the stop a great reward. Had the Blackened Shrimp Po Boy, California salad with blackened shrimp, single fried chicken breast yeah small onion ring topped off of the beer all very tastefully done prices are great. Quick service definitely will come back.

This was one of few non-chain spots open near the beach on a random Tuesday. The food was good, but it was a long wait for it. It wasn’t crazy busy and we arrived pretty close to when they opened. The kids meal portions were great and their nugs were more meat than breading, which was great. I got the oyster po boy and my partner got the spicy chicken sandwich (wasn’t that spicy but good). The fries were better than the onion rings. Those were super greasy and I wouldn’t get them again. The inside space is cute, clean, but limited in space. There are also outside picnic tables with umbrellas, which is where we chose to eat.

Love the smoked flavor in the wings. Some of the best French Fries in Beaufort! And appreciative that they are in keeping with an updated nod to the location.
The Buddha Bowl was the bomb too!
Softshell Crab too!!!

The people who worked there are lovely. I got a fried chicken sandwich, it being a chicken shack and all, and it was the blandest fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. So I went to slather it in hot sauce and turns out they charge for hot sauce, which a chicken joint charging for hot sauce is a bit like IHOP charging for syrup. Which was a bit annoying but the real issue was just how bland the fried chicken was.

A fantastic local restaurant where their fried chicken is on point and their specialty salad is delicious! Everything is made and cooked on the spot, so when I say it’s fresh, that’s why! Great customer service and good vibes all the way around. Definitely coming back and recommending it to all!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside makes up for that. The menu has a wide variety and something for everyone. Tacos, sliders, chicken salad and more. Beer on tap and in bottle and freshly made sweet tea. The homemade desserts by Mrs Johnson, OMG! Yum!
I had 2 grilled chicken tacos, my son had kids nuggets and fries, and my husband had a shrimp burger slider, fried chicken taco and a grilled shrimp taco. Every bit of it was delicious!

I have been wanting to stop here for quite sometime. Today I made it. I was completely disappointed. The menu was confusing. I wanted 3 thighs a sude order if fries and a half and half tea. Come to find out it was no deal. It was $14.99
The chicken was blan except for a hint of freezer burn and over cooked burnt smell.
The fries were greaser than they should’ve been.
I will pass by this place for now on. I could have went to dockside. Or half a dozen full service places within a few miles.

Lovely little restaurant with truly well cooked chicken. I have tried the tenders, a chicken sandwich, and the Thai fried rice with grilled chicken, and it is a wonder to be had in your mouth as the flavor dances across your taste goblets. Highly recommend to locals and passerby alike!
