I’m sure all Rita’s Italian Ice are nice places to visit but this one was super quiet on a warm day and the girl behind the counter couldn’t have been more friendly. We were out of town and needed some ice cream and picked the perfect spot.

We stopped tonight 8/1/21 also. They had my favorite Orange Cream Custard tonight. This Rita’s is our favorite one in PA. They have rotating custard flavors in addition to all their ice flavors. Some examples in addition to Chocolate Vanilla and Twist are; Orange Cream, Blackberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, Butter Pecan, Banana, Strawberry, Cotton candy plus a few others. Service is cheerful, friendly, and efficient. We stop every other Sunday when we go to Fantasy Skating Center on the way home to enjoy a custard. It’s on Golden Road in Blandon, PA. They also have a reach in upright freezer with take home pints and treats. Well worth the visit always!!!

I really miss the old location in the middle of Emmaus. It really bums me I have to drive instead of walk to the end of town now. Besides that, I go there as often as possible with friends or family. The gelatis still taste as good as ever and they seems to be experimenting with new flavors every time I go

This is the best Rita’s I’ve ever been to! The employees were very nice and helpful since I was unsure of what I wanted. They had a variety of custard options and both the coffee and cotton candy were delicious!! I will definitely be coming back for the exceptional service I received.

Went to this location last weekend and it is a standard Rita’s. nothing stood out as exceptional or lacking. My real reason for writing a review is to ask them to get a working landline / phone. I tried to call to see if they had a specific flavor and the phone was disconnected. Business’s not having landlines / phones seems to be more common and I don’t think it is a good thing. If a customer wants to call to ask a specific question about the menu, or if they are busy around a particular time, etc. and the business does not have a phone, the person could potentially choose another business or in the case of Rita’s, the location in Macungie or Emmaus Ave.

Only had 1 no sugar option but it was tasty. The kids size is just the right size for an afternoon treat. Thankful for the outdoor seating but wish the area was cleaned up a bit. Always seems like there is trash laying around.

Rita’s Italian Water Ice is a (Greater) Philadelphia favorite. The ice is amazing. Tons of fresh flavors made daily including the official Sweetish Fish candy flavor. The custard is good too, but you need to expect something different from Ice cream (thicker and more tart which pairs with the sweet Italian ice to cut the sugar.). Be sure to visit on the first day of spring for a free ice, it’s a local tradition.

.I bought 2 quarts of water ice. than to buy the custard..$10 you are ripping us off..your so cheap!! What I should have done was NOT purchased the quarts and left and gone to get ice cream from Giant for my teenagers instead..way cheaper
