A quint and cozy little French setup in Furano. Dishes were decent, but a little bit towards the lighter side (pretty common in Japan). Use of local vegetables and products. Great service. Enjoyable dinner and something different if you are tired of too much Japanese food.

Cozy restaurant with a great ambience and delicious food. Everything we tried was really yummy and definitely worth the money. We had a lovely time and will be back again!

What a hidden gem in Furano – the food was so delicious and beautifully plated, using fresh locally sourced ingredients. We especially loved the cold basil soup, homemade bread with butter, and fish with white wine sauce!! And all for an affordable price of 55,000 yen! The Taiwanese hostess was also very hospitable and explained each course to us before we ate. Definitely would recommend 🙂

Say what you will about this quaint little gem, for pseudo fine dining it is not that expensive and very good value-for-money. High end fish dishes, beef that melts in your mouth, ambience of a michelin star restaurant, what more do you want?! Cest Magnifique. We’ll be back.

The food is exquisite and the homemade drinks taste good. I don’t eat beef and have changed the main course to other meats. However, one of the appetizers is beef, which is a bit disappointing. The overall taste of the food is not too surprising. The service is pretty good.

Had family dinner with a child. Best meal we’ve had in Hokkaido. The service was great, and the dishes were fresh and delicate.

The restaurant is right on the corner and could be easily missed(see photo). You must book as there’s only around 6 tables and they do only one round on the Friday night we ate there. Set courses but you choose choice of pork (cheek), venison, or beef rump. There was a fillet mignon selection but it was unavailable on the night we went. The serves were all beautifully presented but portion size was on the smaller side. The cold onion soup was outstanding.

It took me a long time to decide on where to go for Christmas eve but i am glad i picked a la campagne and made reservations early because it was full seating. The restaurant is well decorated and the server can speak English quite well. We had the course menu and every single dish was impeccably done – all ingredients sourced from within Furano. This is also the first time we came across the Chilean wine “Conor Sur” and had a bottle of bubbles before moving on to the red cab sav for our main course – the pork was super tender and the beef and venison was both perfectly done at the right doneness. Even the homemade bread, petit fours and hor’d’vours was delectable. Highly recommemded!

Walked in yesterday to try our luck, but it’s too late for them to take us. However Okami san was nice to offer us today’s dinner sitting, so we took and went today.

Food was nice, all vegetables ingredients are from local Furano, meat also. Only fish items are from harbour cities like Hakodate.

We didn’t know today is the summer fireworks night of Furano, service staff was very helpful to inform us, what a nice experience! We will come back if visit Furano again!

We dined here on August 10th after making a reservation. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lovely—romantic, calm, yet modern. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations.

As a family well-traveled across Japan, we’ve enjoyed incredible meals even in unexpected places. For example, once in rural Tochigi, we walked into a small Italian restaurant without a reservation, and the young chef surprised us with dishes far beyond what we imagined. With that in mind, we had high hopes for this restaurant, but sadly it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in Japan.

The fish dish arrived with the bloodline, which gave it a strong and fishy taste that clashed with the red wine pairing. Overall, the meal’s quality was far below the exceptional standards we’ve come to appreciate in Japan—it almost felt like we were dining outside the country.

The service and setting were excellent, but the cuisine unfortunately did not meet the level one would expect at this price point.
