Taylor was a phenomenal bartender. I was unsure of a beverage and her and Cassie found the right one that would work for me. Both bartenders were very aware of what i was looking for. I felt very welcome and there was a great vibe. Everyone should come here and feel the vibes and great bartenders.

This was slightly weird space. There was only one other patron the whole hour I was there. The barkeep was not very engaging, i.e. didn’t want to be there. Had to track her down for round two. The draft beer selection was very limited but they did have Two Roads. Never offered a food menu, so not sure if the kitchen was open or not. The signal or screen quality on the TV was very poor. The bathroom could use a good clean and a major update. The pool tables looked nice enough. There is good parking out back. This place if renovated and marketed could do very well in my opinion. It will probably just fade away though.

As my friend says, this is a hard core bar. Friendly enough bartender, a crop of regulars and a couple of pool tables. No food or kitchen, not a lot of seats, but a place some folks would love to hang.

If only there was an option for – 5 stars I would gladly accept it with honor!! I haven’t visited this establishment in over 2 years and within 2 hours mind you, being one of only three paying customers over the course of that time was told I had to leave because of someone else’s issues with the bar tender. (Taylor) I was only playing my third game of pool with a complete stranger at the time. I payed for a mixed drink mins before this transponded mind you and didn’t even have the chance to drink my 10$ 12 oz glass of ice filled to the top with a drizzle of captain Morgan. This is directly after paying the bill and was threatened by her as well!!! Such unprofessionalism, seriously???? Tell me how a business open over 30 + years in Manchester, Ct needs to run this way?? I think it’s time for the owners to part ways. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve simply driven by oak st pub and People fighting in the st and front door. You name it they got it lmao rant over 11/21/2023

This is an edit, worst service I’ve experienced. The usual bartender during the week can be seen sitting at the bar drunk falling over, slow service from the others. I walked in recently and sat while the bartender texted on her phone. As a seasoned bartender, this is truly disgusting the way this place allows it’s employees to get blind drunk on their days off. And allow others to ignore customers in favor of the local drunks who don’t tip

I am new and relocated and have been to many places and made many connections. After reading the review of the owner stating he does not LIKE OUR kind of people going to his establishment after getting exposed for his bartender robbing the “COLORED” customer and making him feel like he was the liar i will never step foot or even recommend this establishment… I will advise not ro go there… RACISM I NOT OK AND WILL NOT GET FAR ACTING LIKE ONE BUDDY!

This place came off as if it’s such a great bar, but let me say this… it is far from it. I personally witnessed the female bartender and owner take an accidental incident that occurred on the evening of 12/02/2023, from not being violent to full on outrageous. The bartender and owner clearly need anger management, therapy, and to take some serious training or watch YouTube videos on how to de-escalate situations. Even the bouncer/s didn’t totally agree with how the owner and bartender were acting from their facial expressions. Luckily, the group walked out without incident other than arguing and yelling. Even with a huge older woman who really needs to grow up. She was pursuing the group of in my eyes a younger 20s crowd, adding more fuel to the fire. Again, thankfully, the group walked away, and no fighting happened because there were probably at least 10 of them. Seriously, I’m not recommending this place anymore, and I’m steering all of my family, friends, and anyone who asks for a bar recommendation away from this establishment. There’s a lot safer, well established, and, more importantly, better management and staff at other locations. You just have to look and not settle for this.

The owner is racist.
There was an incident when the bartender took my bosses’ money and didn’t give him the right change back.
He gave her a $50, but she told him he gave her a $20. The bartender didn’t believe him when he said he gave her a $50, and everything escalated from there.
My boss was told to come back so that they could count the register to see if he was “telling the truth,” despite this being the bartender’s negligence as she should be much more careful when she is handling someone’s money.
My boss gave the bartender his phone number to contact him when they counted the register.
Despite how ridiculous this is, my boss was nothing but understanding.
This situation, that was in no way the fault of my bosses’, was turned around on him to make him look like he was a criminal.
After one week of waiting for this phonecall, my boss finally got the call from the owner of this bar to come and pick up his money.
When he arrived back at the pub, the police were waiting for him as well as the bartender, who was the one that messed everything up in the first place, and the owner.
My boss was still attempting to be understanding despite doing absolutely nothing to warrant the police being there. While the owner was handing him his money that he was owed for a week, the owner said, and I quote:
“I don’t like your kind here, anyways.”
After my boss collected his money, after he steps out of the bar, the police told him they are pressing charges on HIM for disturbing the peace despite being nothing BUT peaceful from the injustice inflicted upon him. He was also trespassed from the property.
A police report was written on him when he did nothing wrong; he was civil the entire time. He came back to the office that day distraught from how he had been treated and I never saw him that torn up a single day of the many years I worked with him.
Luckily, my boss is a lawyer, and he fought off the case and the charges were dropped.
Lord knows how lucky he’d be if he wasn’t a lawyer. Or how much worse the police would have treated him.
Don’t ever go to this bar; if you do, you’re giving your money to a racist establishment.

This is such a bad place to go to the first time i went i got into it with one of the bartenders before i could drink, and she kicked me out. Tonight i ordered drinks, moonshine was watered down and she made me a screwdriver! That the orange juice was expired like seriously!!! They need to be shut down!! You can NOT treat customers like that, even if you don’t like them, Perioded!!! I didn’t drink it so i shouldn’t have to pay for it!!!

Went there for the first time, food was good, drinks were good but by the end of the night some random guy took my drink from out of my hand and was told I have to leave, mind you he came in after me, apparently he was a “bouncer” no security shirt, nothing to say otherwise, he could be another customer for all I know, telling me this is “how he makes his bread” super unprofessional. If that’s the case and he’s being paid then have a security shirt on. Another female I’m assuming his girlfriend/wife was trying to rationalize the reason afterwards by gaslighting me telling me Why am I making it a big deal and to go home? I literally live across the street and at first was excited about this place, food, drinks, pool tables and staff was great but your “security or bouncers” need some training and actual shirts of some kind, I’ve been to numerous places and that’s a first for me… willing to give it another try but hopefully an owner is there so we can have a conversation about what occurred.
