Tried this place for the first time recently just for a change of scenery, and we will definitely be returning! Stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the portion sizes and the food quality. The breakfast bowls were awesome, as was their omelet. Some of the best sausage gravy I’ve had in awhile. The biggest downside was that there weren’t any tables available, so we had to sit outside. We also had to wait for our toast after our main dishes had already come out.

Great find using Google Maps. The food and service was outstanding. This is just a great little place to experience this small town diner. It is in a historic building. There is plenty of parking in an adjacent lot. There is a picturesque river that flows right by this restaurant. Its is very well kept and clean including the restrooms.

Place is small but the food portions make up for that. Huge portions good food service was good and they all were friendly. I recommend this place for breakfast but you better bring an appetite.

The food was REAL!!! Real hand cut potatoes, fresh side thick crunchy bacon! The eggs were cooked perfectly. Sourdough bread is so soft it melts in your mouth.
You are greeted like a family member and taken care of as such.

August 18th 2025 is the day of Grand reopening, under new management. All prior bad reviews are irrelevant.
The food and service are phenomenal. The prices are more than fair for the quantity and quality of food served. While every new business will have a hiccup occasionally..the new management will definitely strive to make sure you are taken care of . This diner is Americana and small town value at its finest. I will be a return customer again and again.

So they reopened, and it’s not good. New staff, new prices, and the portion size went way down. Went to pick up an order of 3 breakfast bowl for work and had to wait 20min. Not bad right? Let’s not forget the additional 20min of standing, staring at my food waiting to pay. 40$ for 3 meals, they forgot the bread. And we all ordered large…it was snack size. Watered down sausage gravy that tasted like it came from a can.
Bring back the original staff, food quality and pricing or just close down for good please!
