Amazing service, truly a luxury experience from the drinks to the dessert and everything in between. The staff were extremely knowladable on not just food recommendations but also the history. We had a taste of many portions of the menu. You can not go wrong with any of the appetizers or the desserts. The steak was amazing, and the drink was recommended and was an excellent choice. I would recommend to anyone who wants a special experience and delicious food.

Hate it is closing soon! August 10th I believe, go enjoy it while you can. It is spendy but worth every penny. The food was divine. The chef should have no problem finding a job. The staff treated us like royalty and even gave us a small tour afterwards. Even the security guard practically rolled out the red carpet for us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I am going 5 stars. Everything was just good. All the staff we interacted with was so nice, I think our servers name was Meg she was awesome and had a fun friendly vibe, request her if you can. The steaks were cooked just right and had great taste. I also loved the extra sauces you can get, I added Henry banes and some garlic butter. We also got fries and the whipped potatoes (excellent). Next is the view, just looking over the track while they are maintaining it or racing is just a nice experience. Oh yeah the bourbon a huge selection with very rare ones you won’t find other places. Overall a must go to.

This place was amazing! Great staff and fantastic view of the Kentucky Derby track. Many different style of Bourbon and Wine. Fantastic crab cakes, and fillet. My fiancé and I were celebrating our Anniversary and she ended up getting the Bucatini which was fabulous, I stole a little bit all and all we got shuttled from the gate to the door and everything after that was just amazing!

Chad was 1st class! He served me and checked on me often and gave great recommendations. Cmshyanne was smiling and greeted me at the door! Chef Stacy presented my crab cakes, which were truly outstanding! Jen the manager came and said hello. Thank you Laura for the reservation and for everything! The Filet was flavorful, perfect temperature and the whipped pot were excellent. This is a must for you to visit while in Kentucky!

We were there for 2.75 hours. Watched a couple races from the balcony. Michael is an amazing waiter. Very friendly. Food was amazing. The petite filet of beef and lobster tail melted in my mouth. Lobster bisque was very tomatoey, scallops were amazing, bone in ribeye was top notch. The list of wine was the longest I’ve ever seen. At least 25 pages long (if I can figure out how to download a video I will post the wine menu). Rare bourbon available.

Recently opened and an excellent edition to Louisville’s culinary experience, Matt Winn’s sits atop Churchill Downs looking out across the track offering sweeping views of the grounds and a modest view of the city. We were actually lucky enough to enjoy a rather forceful autumn storm after watching the sunset while enjoying our meal. There is a superb selection of bourbon as well as wine and the bartenders & wait staff were amazing. Our food was succulent, timely, and in line cost wise with what you would expect from a top tier dinning establishment located in Louisville. We’ve already made plans to come back again and bring a couple more guests with us as this has jumped up into our top five within the city.
A minor note for those going: we ended up using the gate at Racine and Taylor as the others were closed. You’ll proceed down to where Google actually says it’s located to walk through a metal detector and jump on a golf cart for a quick ride to the doors of Churchill Downs before a brief walk to the elevators.

This was one of the most special dinners we have ever booked! We were in from out of town for the weekend, and happened to book a table to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to drive us to the vIP elevator at Churchill downs. We rode it up to the top and were greeted by name by the hostess. The service was impeccable the entire night. The food was delicious. The drinks were on point. The seafood and dessert carts were brought tableside to make your selections. Our table overlooked the track and winners circle. It was truly a magical evening from beginning to end. It was our favorite part of our weekend. When word gets out about this place, it will be a hard reservation to get.

Very impressed with our whole experience! Service was excellent and the meal was incredible. My husband got the bone in ribeye and it got the seared scallops. Then the dessert!! Omg the bourbon butter cake was my favorite cake EVER! The hubs had the sensational strawberry cake and it was just as good. Leave room for dessert!!!

Top shelf meats, cheeses, and steaks plus our waiter Conner was excellent. Tonight our waiter was Levi and he was definitely pin the weeds, however, he was a good sport non- the-less. If he survived our party, no pun intended, then he’s going to be a okay!!! See you again buddy have a good meal brother.
