If you are looking for authentic Haitian cuisine this is it. The chef (who was also our server) was very accommodating and prepared everything fresh along with his wife.The food was delicious with several complex flavors hidden within each bite. 10/10

This has got to be one of THE BEST Haitian food places in Miami! I’m blown away by how fresh and homely every dish tastes. I really recommend the beef soup, it’s a spoon full of flavor. The service is wonderful and the owner is a very caring man that extends true hospitality to his guests. I can’t wait to come in to try more of their menu!!!!

Idk why this place has any less than 5 stars. If youre looking for a hole in the wall with AMAZING food and genuine people, this is the place to be! The food was authentic and the man that owns it was so nice and very helpful to explain the food. We got black rice (10000x recommend as a side) creole goat as a stew, not fried was absolutely incredible. We also got fried springs, the haitian patty, lalo, rice and red beans and the Mac n cheese. To drink the ginger tea was so good and balanced perfectly, we also got a specialty juice, the breadfruit one. It was very powerful and so so good I would’ve had more if I could’ve fit it in my belly. Lol.
If you like REAL traditional food not the touristy restaurants, you HAVE to go here. I had to take a 3hr nap afterwards.

I don’t live or work in the area but would probably be a regular if I did. I was looking for something quick to eat on my lunch break after being on assignment nearby. I ordered the legume meal. it was fresh and flavorful, with a price that you can’t beat for the sides and portion size. The staff was kind, and the service was quick.

Me being Haitian and knowing what Haitian food is suppose to taste like this is soooo trassshhh ….I never had food this bad the rice is Dried and the meat is dried no taste at all and they don’t clean the meat good at all I got fried turkey and fried goat they left the skin on the goat the fat and they give so much bones as well, just nasty the salad was spoil. Rating negative zero . I threw both plates away 30$ in the trash !!! They need to shut this place down asap!!!! On my way to get some real Haitian food cause this wasn’t it

Took my family here and boy was I impressed. The staff were pleasant, very clean environment, practiced social distancing, and the food was more than delicious. The owner came out to make sure we were enjoying the service. He is very humble and down to earth. Support support support!!!!!!

MBS was a great, family owned restaurant with authentic Caribbean (primarily Haitian) food! We had griot and chicken plates with two sides from the daily lunch special (free drink included). Would definitely come back; great local eatery and service!
