Cute little family owned sub shop that does it right each of the subs are grilled and pressed which makes them so good both my wife and I loved each of ours. Staff was super nice and there is an outside table which was good for us since we had our dogs with us. Highly recommend it. We will be back next time we in Ocala.

I wish that I’d found this place 5yrs ago, but the owner said they’d only been open 2 or 3.lol. It’s small and quaint. They make all of there amazing desserts,sauces and soups in house. And they look amazing. The Albelo’s original 8″ is what i got, no tomato add onion and banana peppers. It was the BEST toasted sub sandwich I’ve ever had. I also tried some chips that come with the meal, I’d never had them and they were delicious. Salt and vinegar meets cheddar and onion sourcream.. They ladies were so sweet and gladly answered my questions
UPDATE: SO my husbandand I went back 3 days later and ate there again! We got the same sandwich,the same way, and split it. So I get the 8 inch and we split it and it’s plenty for us. This time we also tried the fried green tomatoes. They give you 6 so we each had 3 and they were very good. I really want to try the zucchini fries next time.
And the lady that I’m assuming owns the place, said hey I recognize you from the other day, you wrote usa very nice review, I said yes I sure did, I had told her that I was going to which is why I was taking pics. And she said we really appreciate that it was so kind of you. And I thanked her, it made my day. Please go show them some love you won’t regret it.

They just recently opened and wow, it did not disappoint! After 10 minutes of deciding what we wanted (they have a large selection to choose from) I ordered the Italian Stallion and my wife ordered The Southern Bell in a wrap. Both sandwiches were delicious and the fries were hot and tasty as well.
We definitely will be back and recommending to all our family and friends.

Just stopped in on a whim while my FIL was getting blood drawn. I got their Italian stallion 8″ and my husband 12″ philly plus an order fries. Walked out spending $23 and worth every dime. The food was fresh, the bread was hot but soft. If you’re thinking about a sub for dinner or lunch come here! Their ain’t no way the Publix deli in the same plaza can beat them. We will see y’all again!!!

Believe the hype Ocala! What a gem y’all have in this sandwich shop. Everything we ordered was amazing. Amazing vegetarian options as well. Love seeing perogies on a menu here in the south! The Cubano is the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. Bread is crispy and the meat is juicy and full of flavor. 10/10 Highly recommend! The owners are super nice folks as well and you can tell they put a lot of love into this place!

Very nice establishment very clean excellent service but that’s where it stops it’s a $9 sub it’s only 8 inches and the bread is so poor and it’s a very small sub sandwich for your money and the taste is lackluster. I ordered the Italian stallion and the meatball and they were both lackluster in taste.

What a fantastic hidden gem of a restaurant! We stopped here today with our large group of motorcyclists and they were more than accommodating to look after us, the food was excellent and the service top notch! Will definitely be back!

Update: Responding to owner- clearly by the owner’s rude response you can tell this sub shop has poor customer service. As far as the heat advisory excuse, while yes it was hot that day, it was hotter inside this sub shop like I previously mentioned. We went to the Mexican restaurant next door and it was nice and cool in there. I don’t feel this place has a working AC. Yes they did answer my questions. My child couldn’t eat anything off the kids menu which is why I inquired about the meatballs but seems crazy that four meatballs cost more than anything on the kids menu which are full meals.
It is insanely hot inside this sub shop—hotter than it was outside in the middle of summer. Within just a couple of minutes, both my daughter and I were sweating. It was so uncomfortable that we had to leave without ordering anything.
On top of that, they are not very accommodating. I asked about getting meatballs for my toddler, and they wanted $2 per meatball with a minimum of four. That’s $8 just for four meatballs—very overpriced!
Between the uncomfortable, sweltering environment and the unreasonable pricing, I can’t recommend this place at all.

You really get what you pay for here and the quality is amazing! Had the roast beef and cheddar special today with side of fries and could feed an army! Best sandwich shop in the area and they have so much more.
