stopped by while i was out in pikeville, pulled in to see that cars were WRAPPED around the building! we decided to go in, and they did NOT disappoint. the long line made sense; it was absolutely worth the wait. everything was hot, fresh, & so tasty!! workers were so nice, despite having to keep up with the demand. thanks so much!! we’d love to stop by when in town again :))

Was not impressed with the staff, or the food. The staff was slow and could not keep the different orders straight and because of a lack of communication between the front and the back of the restaurant it took about 20 minutes to get our food which tucked. Then everything was super oily. Because they were rushed in the back and didn’t give the food time to drain the oil it was cooked in. Very disappointed

I am unaware of who was working on this night but my husband and I were sitting in the drivethru and no one even attempted to take our order after we tried getting someone’s attention. I ended up having to go inside and order because we were basically being ignored in the drivethru.

Ordered. Fish/Chicken platter and Fish/Shrimp platter. Set in drive thru for 25 minutes then they come to tell me I’d have to wait for chicken unless I’d take an extra piece of fish and I could be on my way. Took that offer for I had waited so long. Husband got

I visited the restaurant today, and the food was the freshest that I have gotten at any other Long John’s. The servers were nice, and the service was fast. The only thing they could improve on is their selection of diet drinks.

We use to have two Long John Silver’s but, now only have one this is truly so disappointing, I absolutely Love to eat there. They have the best sea food ever, love there shrimp there big not little shrimp, so tasty perfect each and every time.
There fish and chicken are delicious perfect each and every time, and oh there corn on the cob beyond delicious always, love their coleslaw. Cheesecake that’s so tasty. They also have really good baked fish for those who can’t eat fried food.
I do wish they had a better selection of side dishes like they use to have, about thirty five year ago they had a side dish special for the summer called seafood salad Oh it was a dream come true for seafood lovers, I worked there then and ate it every day that summer, after the summer season was over I was told it would return the next summer season but, they never did bring it back, so very sad.
The secret to there great food is it’s the same every time always delicious, consistency is what it’s about you always know the food will be great every time.
If you have never eaten there your missing out on so much, it’s a must do thing.

The team behind the counter are stellar. I was just passing by and stopped for a burger and root beer float. The employees were super friendly and helpful. I love Appalachia hospitality!
