Running Deep
There have been several restaurants at this location that have been duds, but Joe’s is a hit! Not only do they serve tasty authentic Italian food, but the service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant dinning experience. The restaurant manager stopped by our table to make sure everyone was happy with their food and to just chat with us.
We started with the Fried Calamari. It was a large portion of calamari rings that were not overly breaded and perfectly seasoned. I didn’t get a picture because everyone dived in as soon as it reached our table! There was plenty for the four adults in our party.
For our main entrees, we got the Stromboli, Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, and the Spaghetti with Meat Balls. The portion size was big and everyone loved their dish. My wife got the spaghetti with meat sauce but she tried our daughter’s spaghetti with meat balls and mentioned to our waiter that she really liked the spaghetti with meat balls more. Our server said it was the same sauce on both dishes, so he brought her a bowl with meat balls in it! I got the stromboli and it was great! The crust was crisp on top and there was a great amount of meats and cheese filling. I can’t wait to try their pizza!
Everyone took half their food to-go and I look forward to eating the rest tonight. We were so full that we didn’t try the desserts. I highly recommend that you give this place a try. We were told that it is not associated with the previous Italian restaurant that was at this location. Thanks for a great meal, Joe’s….we will be back!!!

First time here and so glad we finally tried it. We ordered 4 different dishes and all were good. Each came with a salad and rolls. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Murphy. Delicious!!! The servings are huge. Only heads up is they don’t serve wine/alcohol but you can bring your own . Definitely will be going back . The picture I’m sharing is my leftovers

Service was great! She was helpful with the menu and with our order, our food was delicious and perfectly made! The manager came around to check on us and thanked us for stopping by. Would recommend to sit and eat, my daughter would enjoy this place!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it. We got the calamari, chicken Parmigiano, and chicken/shrimp marsala. Everything came out quick and tasted amazing. Our waitress was also so nice and attentive. She did an awesome job! Definitely recommend!

The two waitresses who were serving were hustling always moving, clear communication with the kitchen and very attentive, friendly and accessible. The food was a little different than what I expected I ordered the appetizer listed as *foccacia* and got what seemed to me like their sub style bread which wasn’t bad just a bit misleading, it came with their marinara sauce, but I appreciated the marinara sauce they provide with their spaghetti better. Overall food was ok, the garlic knots they provide are huge and dense and a bit mild on the garlic sauce it was on the top and does not penetrate to the core of the bread i like lots of garlic on my knots. The price was affordable for what they offer, seems like they have their regulars and I would be interested in trying some of their other menu items

Fantastic place, so happy we chose to finally try this place out! The stuffed mushroom appetizer was my favorite, but we also loved the shrimp tortellini and chicken primavera. The house salad was basic ice burg lettuce salad mix with one slice of tomato, a slice of onion, and cheese. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was very clean and organized.

I have not had excellent Italian food in years, and while visiting Killen, I came across Jose Italian restaurant. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and given a seat. The food was absolutely amazing, and so were the staff and services. The restaurant gave you authentic Italian vibes from how the tables, doors, and walls looked.

I came for lunch , and got a lunch Special, the cheese ravioli.
It comes with 2 nice size garlic bread knots, and a house salad with your choice of dressing.
Everything tastes great! I would recommend this restaurant ; plenty to choose from!
Only downside is that they have Pepsi products and note Coke products lol

Very good service and better food. Definitely recommend! Waitress was super sweet and attended us well. We had the calamari, chicken & shrimp Alfredo and chicken and shrimp a la romana.
