Stopped by for a weeknight dinner while waiting for traffic to go down. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor & dinnerware! Incense burning as you walked in + dimmed warm lighting made it feel so cozy.
The food was reasonably priced for the ambiance— $17 for chicken Pad See Ew (solid), $12 for chicken Tom Yum soup (so flavorful). Not to mention, the food came out ~5min after ordering— so quick!
Bathroom was nice and clean too.

People need to stop calling every non-american place “authentic” in the reviews, if they don’t know what authentic means, it’s misleading. The Thai food here is not authentic at all. You should realize that yourself when you see on the menu things like “Drunken Spaghetti”. And no chopsticks served. It’s a casual fusion place.
All spicyness levels are “whitewashed”, as I would call it. Even the “hot” here would not even be a “mild” in an authentic Thai place. Red curry was also sweet for some reason. Drunken noodles tasted slightly bland – not enough garlic. Service could be more attentive and the layout of the restaurant feels a bit strange too.

Khao Soi was so pretty. The taste was good, although the chicken is a bit tough to eat. The Pad See Ew was amazing. This place is definitely super pricey, but the food is good and the place is super cute. It would be fun for a date or occasion, but I wouldn’t be back casually. Also loved all the flowers outside.

I ordered Uber Eats and picked it up. The quantity was very very less! Half of the box was empty.
I would not order from here based on the price and quantity!!
Update after restaurant reply:

The reply of the restaurant does not make any sense! We order from other similar restaurants and the quantity is not at all so less. Check the pics! I saw another review which had the same issue. So it’s not only me!

Oh this place is a joke for a Thai restaurant. We paid upwards of $70 for takeout for this RIDICULOUS sized portion of food. If I’m paying that much, there better be that moneys amount worth of food in my to go box. The volcano beef was maybe 1/16th of the takeout box. And you can’t substitute white rice? The pad thai was soggy because they used the tiniest, stringiest noodles ever. The fate of this place is more doomed than the last Thai restaurant standing in that house.
Here’s a list of reasonable and reputable Thai places in the city that won’t RIP YOU OFF with pricing: Chalong, Rim Tanon, Kin Dee. All better tasting, better quality, better service, and BETTER PRICES!
Couldn’t even make a profit to break even with dishes like this.
My response to the owners: YOU ARE A JOKE. Own that. Multiple customers have reported the disgustingly small portion sizes. High quality steak? Tastes like a nasty new york strip from the discount section in Walmart, rough, tough, inedible. And certainly doesn’t constitute only serving 15 pieces of this in a soggy bowl. We only removed bean sprouts – so what you’re telling us is bean sprouts were going to take 3/4 of the box and that’s what makes this meal worth $17? Get a grip. Your food is gross and inedible. Stop passing it as Thai food.

I had an amazing experience at Ar Haan Thai Restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their mango sticky rice is hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly sweet mangoes, creamy coconut sauce, and just the right texture of sticky rice. Absolutely delicious! The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Thai flavors!

If you’re in the mood for Thai, I’d try another spot. This food is fine-ish but substandard flavor (tastes more like crushed red pepper than actual Thai spices). A red flag was that when I showed up to pick up my order I was stood directly next to the kitchen door where I should have been able to smell food (it was 5pm on a Saturday) but it just smelled like cleaning supplies.
Beyond this the prices for this are a bit high for the quantity of food. Payed nearly 40 dollars for the 2 dishes pictured (Panang Curry and Pad Thai)
Food was cooked to a safe level and the location seemed clean so I give it 2 stars but I wouldn’t recommend this spot.

The building is cute but the entire restaurant smelled like dirty toilet from the moment we walked in. I am not sure if they have good doors separating the bathroom from the rest of the space, but it smelled terrible in there. Other than that, the food was amazing and I was overwhelmed with all the interesting options in the menu. We asked the waiter for some help choosing from the menu as there were too many exciting options, but the waiter was disinterested and bored and did not help us at all. Still, what we ordered was delicious. That said, I would not come here again because of the smell… would rather order take out or just find one of the many other great Thai food options in HOUSTON.

I took my parents here for an early dinner and it was excellent! The food was delicious, the curry was super good and the spring rolls are excellent. The place itself is so beautiful and the service was 10/10. We will be going back. We were so busy eating we forgot to take photos! So they are half way through. It’s right next to Taco Bell, location wise
