Service was ok. Not great. Not once did the waitress smile. The food is ridiculously expensive. I paid $5.39 for a fish taco made out of fish sticks that I had to put together. They serve the cabbage and dressing separately. I didn’t wait long. They just threw the fish sticks in deep fryer, warmed a tortilla and that was that. The place was dead at peak lunch hour. This is the second time I go, because I wanted to give it a second chance. I will not be going again. They need to train their staff on real customer service, and they need to get real with their prices. I’ve paid $6 for a fish taco before but it was chunky piece of fish and was ready to eat when I got it. This was just mediocre. I will not going back.

It was horrible service first starting with the drink , my partner asked for coke & the server respond with that they didn’t have any not being aware that they had the Mexican coke bottle in their drinks fridge & the server did not have a welcoming vibe bedsides that the prices were to high for what you receive. Won’t be back again first and last time

Great place for lunch because of their nice lunch menu. Good prices and good food, good portions. Service is always quick. Staff is friendly. Ordered the pork chimichunga, served with rice and beans. My friend ordered the tostada but requested no shell. They were very happy to accommodate the change in her order. Atmosphere is soothing, not too noisy. We stayed awhile to talk and weren’t rushed to finish our meal. My family members also enjoy dining here frequently.

This place has great food don’t let the bad reviews prevent you from giving it a try! I feel like the other reviews do not know how mexican sushi is done. It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I’ve had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don’t miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.

I beg to differ regarding all of the negativity that I heard in the previous reviews. The food was extraordinary, the service light and amenable. I think these people unfortunately know nothing about Spanish food other than “paella,” and are reluctant to try or experience all that Spanish cuisine has to offer. Very sad comment to have to make. Bravo La Isla! Mi hija y yo comimos super bien, incluso tuvimos la suerte de probar los langostinos de Sanlucar, que estaban buenísimos, y acababan de llegar ese mismo día.

Good place to grab Sushi, waitress was very attentive, food was fresh and very tasty. The establishment itself could use a bit of a makeover but otherwise I’ll definitely come back to eat here.
