The margaritas are great, but be careful. I went there this weekend and an hour later somebody got shot near that place. I was terrified. Not coming back there again.

I am a very adventurous diner but this place………
Food: I wanted authentic mexican food. What I got was a tamale with not 1 but 5 bones in it. Never in my life time of eating tamales across the southwest (phoenix home town) have I had a single bone.
Service: Its a good thing I speak spanish otherwise I would have been SOL. While they were very nice it took 45 min for 1 tamale and 1 chicken taco……
Atmosphere: I sat at the Bar, very loud with TV’s and at one point they started a hookah on the bar next to me. I asked for my check by time I left place was full of hooka smoke.

Having lived in Mexico for over a year, I miss real Mexican food. This place is the closest tacos pastor I’ve eaten since Mexico. Food is well priced, however mixed drinks are crazy expensive ($45 for 3 small cocktails).
It’s dingy and rub down, but bartender is friendly and food is great.

Drink prices are predatorial. No prices listed on menu. Got charged $15 for each drink (not ridiculous for a nice or fancy place, this place is far from that. Loud as hell; can barely talk.

Margaritas was fire, Lomo saltado for my little peruvian soul, and hookah!!! Open late. This is paradise be wary of loud music though! Bring ear plugs but the food is worth it.

came here earlier and experience was bleh. waitress was kind enough but had an overly fake “customer service” voice if you know what i mean. food was okay but not worth its price. the whole establishment looked kind of dirty and i was not greeted when coming in. My girlfriend said the place smelled but she did enjoy her asada tacos. she did say she felt uncomfortable in the enviorment, the place tended to attract weirdos, especially at night.

It was too dark to even read the menu; the music was extremely loud (so loud that you could not have conversation, and the bartender/waitress could barely hear you; or you her), there appeared to almost be a brawl inside of the establishment…but the food we ordered was good, and the waitress/ bartender was friendly. BUT, the atmosphere was a little frightening, so we decided to take our food and hurry out. Even the first UBER we summoned canceled on us when it appeared to be only 50 ft away (we saw it across the street…don’t know if he had seen us yet…dark outside. The 2nd UBER we summoned (additional 6-minute wait) picked us up, whew!!

I honestly don’t like leaving bad reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I would say go here if you’re looking for a quick cheap meal, but even than most meals here start around $10 and the food portion doesn’t equate to the price, neither does the quality. I didn’t get what I ordered. It was a completely different plate. On top of that it wasn’t even the right kind of meat that I ordered. I regretted not alerting the staff but seeing as how it took 30 minutes to cook my food in an empty restaurant (I ordered tacos btw), i wasn’t sure if it would take another 30 minutes to make tacos. So I just ate what they gave me. The staff is moderately attentive to its customers as the focus clearly resides at the small bar. I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses, especially ma and pa shops, but this place ain’t it chief.
