The best Thai in Tehran. It just has an outdoor sitting area. The staff are friendly. Menu variety is good, you can find both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Their soups are a must try, and the foods were very delicious. The prices are reasonable.
Highly recommended it if you are a fan of Asian cuisine.

Literally the best Thai food in Tehran!

If you’re craving Thai cuisine in city , Thaifood in Saadat Abad is a must-visit. While the taste may not be 100% traditional Thai, the food is still absolutely delicious and definitely worth the cost.
The variety on the menu is impressive, with plenty of options for all tastes.
I highly recommend the Pad Thai — it’s flavorful and perfectly cooked.
The only seating is outdoors, which adds a nice casual vibe, especially in good weather.
The staff are also super friendly and make the experience even better.
All in all, a great spot to try something different in the city.

The food was the best Thai food I tried in iran! Not exactly the same as the original but really acceptable besides of some sort of including Iranian taste. Street side seating was not the best option but making it cozy for those who like it. Not my preference. Overall give it a try, worth it.

I came here first time in December 2022 and it was one of the BEST Thai food I ever had. Where I come from (Vancouver, Canada) with tons of Thai restaurants and have Thai friends; I was quite impressed with how close and almost authentic it tasted.

Now this year in 2025, I had to come back again and it did not disappoint. The shrimp pad Thai had the right amount of Tamarind sauce, the rice noodles that’s mixed in was not soggy at all unfortunately they were out of beansprouts (you’ll noticed in the picture) as I assumed they get it imported outside of Iran. But the taste was still there as I remembered 3 years ago.

Their beef pad kra pao dish with fried egg on top was divine, I usually get it spicy but because I brought my 1 year old with me to eat and I requested it to be very mild and the male waiter and their chef did exactly that. The bold sweet and savoury flavours especially with that pop of basil was a chef’s kiss!

Most of the staff working there including our male waiter took great care of us and even kept my son entertained with their kind gestures. They offered to try their kimchi and it tasted good too.

All and all their portions were generous and prices were very reasonable for that good amount of food that we had to take some leftovers back to our hotel. I look forward to coming back to Tehran for this amazing Thaifood restaurant

Definable the best Thai food in the town, I’ve tried a few of their dishes and they are all magnificent, my only problem with this place is the outdoor (street side) seating and the cats.
I would definitely recommend trying their bamboo shoot salad which is probably too spicy for most people, and their pad thais.

The food was good. The staff was kind. The Kapao which is my favorite Thai dish the taste quite like in Thailand but only it was to much sauce, too juicie. I will be giving a 5 stars only if the place have seating indoor also but unfortunately no, there is only outside seating the restaurant provided the heater tho. And also no toilet.

It was a very ordinary restaurant with average food quality. While the portion size was generally good, the balance was not satisfying. For example, a large bowl of rice noodles came with only a very small amount of beef. Overall, the price did not match the quality or the composition of the dishes.

Nestled in Sa’adat Abad, Thaifood restaurant offers vibrant flavor of Thai dish. The place is small with only limited outdoor seats. However, it’s a must-visit for Thai cuisine enthusiasts seeking charming flavors! I suggest “Ka pao nia” and fried rice.

I love Thaifood Restaurant! The variety of food they offer is amazing. While they don’t serve some specific seafood dishes from Thai cuisine, the items they do have are absolutely delicious. I’m especially fond of their soups, with the Tom Yam being my top pick. Their noodles and rice with shrimp are also among my favorites. I come here often, about once a week. If you’re looking for tasty Thai food in Tehran, this place is a must-visit!
