Food is usually pretty good. It’s not the best that I’ve tasted but it’s never nasty. Some days are better than others. Sometimes they don’t watch the entrance and you have to wait a while before someone comes out from the back to seat you or give you to go plates. They’ve never been rude to me but they aren’t that forthcoming with friendliness either. Over priced. The quality of the food, restaurant and employees isn’t good enough for the prices. Decent enough overall. I’d suggest just getting food to go.

The interior inside of this restaurant just looks filthy and as if no one were to care for it. Although the waitress Taylor was lovely and showed employee effort the receptionist guy was rude and unprofessional it’ll be alright. The bathroom had no soap dispenser as to anyone who touches it with their hand is already filthy enough.
The buffet choice isn’t so large and they’re to go plates aren’t large they don’t expect you to take much.
The seats you don’t know if the booths have been cleaned in years and the food is oily like they poured the whole bottle. Into everything even the cookies..
The drinks taste watered down and the location to arrive was extremely complicated and pathetic as you have to cross an ongoing lane with dangerous traffic. Overall the New China Garden may still be up and running because of they’re cheap buffet, but I doubt it will hold out long. They also lost lots of recommendations with me like up to 110 or more. Definitely will not be coming back.

I eat here often and I keep coming back so it must be good! It’s a smaller buffet than some I’ve been too but the food is usually spot on and I’ll continue to be a repeat customer. Just a opinion but maybe it’s not fair to rate a restaurant a one star on your first experience because I have found even my favorite restaurants have off days but I still enjoy them.

We got there about 5pm & almost all the food was obviously from lunchtime. Rice was either dried out or not cooked. Meat was rubbery, sweet tea was not sweet & not much of a tea taste. The stuffed mushrooms were about the only thing fresh & were very good! Was not worth $36 for 3 people!

The food was good, as usual. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the waitress seemed to rather be busy with her boyfriend than to be as attentive to the needs of the customers and cleanliness, i.e. empty plates, trash on the floor, cleaning the spilled food off the bar. I’ll definitely go back, but I think the waitress needs to get her priorities straight or go home.

I guess the foods alright, but it seems that as the day comes to an end there’s less food, and its not as fresh. If you go during lunch and definitely before 3pm then I’d say its worth 5 stars. I’ve only really been here twice so maybe I went on an off day. Also for takeout its $19 but you can fill it up how you want too so I’ll raise it from 3 stars to 4.

I waited over 15 min for my to go order (lg beef lo mein). It’s not like they were even busy, I was only customer in there. The man who took my order (Michael) was rude. I had to ask for him to check on order twice, after 10 min then again after 15 min. When he finally brought it to me I stated that I should get a discount on my next meal for such a long wait. His reply to me was “go to other restaurant”. Trust me I will be doing just that from now on.

Update: 1/21/20 (first review is below) The man mentioned below has gone back to China. I enjoy going here again and recommend them now.
Used to be my go-to place. I ate there once a week like clockwork and loved it.
Now there’s an older man who is rude to both employees and customers; I don’t intend to go back as long as he is there.
The first time I encountered him he argued with the staff, loudly, in front of all paying customers. I found it incredibly annoying and took a break hoping he wouldn’t be there next time.
The next time I told him keep the change while paying which he didn’t acknowledge. I then very pleasantly said, “thank you” to which he dismissively waved his hand without looking up.
Get rid of him (or at least get him away from customers) if you want to stay in business.

The older gentleman who works there always greets me with a smile. Great food. Great price. Great service. But just be prepared to fight the traffic if you are there around 5pm during the week.

Ate there couple weeks ago and there were worms in my food, cockroaches in the bathroom and bathroom sink looked like it hadn’t been washed in weeks. Very unclean and food isnt worth it! Of course we didnt have to pay for our food. We will never be back!
