I was excited to get the chance to come to the Vanderbilt Mansion for a function. The property was beautiful but not easy to get to. Took us 2 hrs from Boca. Tried to fly my drone and they were on me like a hawk. No drones on the island. Food was OK, and the service was just OK too for such a fancy place. We were an invited guest and did not pay. But I am sure it did not cost a pretty penny. Esp. since the average salary on this island is 2.2 mill…..
