We really used to like them, but the last time we got subs a couple weeks ago, the lettuce was one of those salad mix bags you buy at a grocery store. With carrots and cabbage. I’m allergic to carrots. Carrots are not on their menu at all, so we didn’t know ask them to omit them. I had to take allergy pills several times to keep my hives down, lucky it’s not a life or death allergy, just painful and annoying, Because they’re not on the menu. I did email a complaint, that got absolutely nowhere with I’m assuming an AI chat bot from the response. I’m just annoyed we wasted $15+ bucks on a sandwich no one would and I was still hungry lol but who puts salad mix on a sub??

The flavor for the subs is on point. I am disappointed in the portion size. If I spend $20 on a sub. Better be Jersey Mike portion. Bright side very clean establishment. Friendly service.

Went there today we ordered two sandwiches and cookie and a soda before even ordering we advised the staff that we had never been there and didn’t know how it works….. We were ignored and not acknowledged on that even though we said it multiple times while in the process of ordering. I was only asked one question regarding my Italian sandwich, and that was if I wanted the pickle or not. My fiance she was asked multiple questions by the lady regarding her sandwich (whom she had acknowledged which I found veryunprofessional… I had no clue until after my sandwich was halfway made & after we paid that we have to tell the person at the front what we want on our sandwiches – hence me saying “I don’t know how it works here, we’ve never eaten here.” Anyways when I went to eat my sandwich I had a very hard time putting into it as the Italian sandwich meats were literally FOLDED IN A STACK making the meats over 1/4″ thick bites of folded meat – NOT EASY FOR PEOPLE WITH DENTURES!!!

Ambiance:
Clean and not overly loud environment. A few tables for indoor dining. Sufficient.
Service:
Greeted by staff as you enter and ready to take your order whenever you are ready. Sandwiches came out faster than expected.
Food Quality:
Hot Ones zesty garlic hook and ladder was outstanding. The bread is soft and not dry or tough. Quality ingredients and the sauces are always on point.
Value for Money:
$11 for a medium sub. Around 8′-10′ or so. The sandwiches are so flavorful that you won’t feel bad one bit paying $11.
Overall Experience:
Another win. Firehouse Subs is undefeated so far. Never had a bad experience. Recommended

It was easy to pre-order the meal and pick up for take out using the app at a location that is easy on and off the freeway. Order was ready for the scheduled time and was hot when picked up. I wish they had a location closer to where I live because these are some of the best sandwiches I’ve had.

I been in this town 6 years. I have been to this place 3 times only 3 times ( Because down south Firehouse is soooo GOOD) Today i decided I wanted to try again and get a quick Sammy on the way..NOOOPE. For the 3rd time they messed my order up with 4 workers in the store and 3 customers. Cashier cant understand correctly when you are ordering and then i got a sloppy sandwich. I paid 17$ plus tax to get slapped in the face. DON’T GO THERE !!!! horrible.

I placed an online order for pickup at 8:40 PM. I arrived right on time, but noticed my order wasn’t ready yet — no big deal, so I stood by one of the tables and waited.
While I was standing there, I overheard one of the employees say they needed to make more mac and cheese and something else. She sounded a bit stressed, which I completely understand at the end of a shift. But then another employee responded, “That’s what happens when people are early.”
I was honestly stunned. I looked up from my phone thinking, “Did I just hear that right?” I double-checked the time — it was 8:44 PM. My pickup time was 8:40 PM, so I was actually a few minutes late, not early.
It didn’t stop there. A few minutes later, one of the employees grabbed a rubber glove and popped it loudly, startling the others. When someone asked what happened, they just laughed and said, “A glove.” It was awkward and unprofessional.
At 8:46 PM, my order was finally ready. The employee placed the bag on the counter, called my name, and I thanked them as I always do. Their response? A cold, no-eye-contact “yup.”
Sorry for the long review, but the whole interaction really caught me off guard. My anxiety immediately made me second-guess myself for being “early,” but I wasn’t — and even if I had been, that kind of attitude and behavior just isn’t what I expect from Firehouse Subs.
We’ve been regulars at this location for a while, but after this experience, I’m not sure we’ll be coming back.
