First time stopping by. Definitely won’t be my last. Roots absolutely floored me with how amazing everything was.
We were seated very promptly. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. Didnt have to wait very long for our orders to be taken and drinks to return to the table.
We ordered the Margherita bread to start off with. Not too cheesy, perfect amount of bread and the flavor was outstanding.
For our main entree we ordered a pizza. It was half Candy Apple BBQ and half Happy Hawaiian. I’ve consumed several pizzas in my life and this one by far was one of the best. The flavor, the fresh toppings and the perfectly cooked crust just made this pizza one of out very favorite pizzas.
The atmosphere is very nice and decor is well put together. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. I highly recommend this place if you are around the Winchester area. I would even suggest making a drive from wherever you are to enjoy this great place.

The waitress was kind and well groomed. Wait time was longer than expected because waitress noticed they messed up order before she brought it out and had them redo it. That was a nice surprise. Most places wouldn’t notice until the customer did. Price was spot on for the quality of food you get. Downfalls was a guy seated at the bar who was talking with a waitress who I thought needed more clothes on for being a waitress and the guy was cussing like a sailor. Could’ve done without that but the food was superb. We will go again. When we put in restaurants near me in maps this restaurant was not listed and when you put in Roots, Winchester Indiana on Google it doesn’t show up. You have to put exactly the name Roots by Tree Hill Farms. We are glad we found this place.

The food and service were both great! Tonight I had a sub, fries and a salad. Every time I walk in to Roots the staff is great and quick to get your order.
The restaurant and bar are always clean and a great atmosphere to eat or hang out with your friends.

Went today for lunch thinking it was going to take a while to be seated due to all the cars there, but surprisingly we were sat immediately. Service was quick and food was great. So many house made bbq sauces. Mac and cheese with brisket was on point. Will def be back as several pizzas are calling my name.

Roots is a nice family restaurant with fun things in the mix! They have steak night with a band, daily specials and they use locally grown menu items whenever possible. We tried their pasta and their brownie sundae. (Make sure you bring someone to help finish the sundae!) Our side dishes were fabulous and plenty. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and kept our drinks full. We left feeling well fed without having empty pockets. I highly recommend the experience and will definitely return!
