Ordered a Texas dog and beef gyro. The hot dog was okay but nothing special; I wasn’t a fan of how tough the casing was. Beef gyro was good. A decent amount of booth seating and very clean. I’d be interested in their breakfast menu, as the venue has more of a diner feel despite the name. Pricing was reasonable.

We stopped for a Texas Wiener in search for the holy grail of hot dogs. They had a lunch special; two wieners, french fries and a soda for $10.99. The wieners had a nice crisp snap to them and not as salty as others. They were topped with chili, fresh onions and brown mustard. The fries were not as crispy as I would like. The staff was friendly and courteous. They serve breakfast and lunch and do have Mexican dishes. Located within a strip mall so there is sufficient parking.

The food is sub par. I tried a tilapia with a side salad and fries. The fish tasted like the frozen crap you get at a grocery store, the fries were dry and the salad was sad. I went back a week later to try a bacon cheeseburger and it was also sub par. The were flies in the restaurant, the seats slide off the benches, and the server was nice but there is a language barrier. Would not recommend.

All i can say is make sure you are fluent in spanish if ordering over the phone. No matter how often they say “yes” and “ok” they are not getting your order correct. Check your food before leaving

My order was wrong and missing items. I ordered through door Dash. What is the point of ordering online if you’re not going to read the order. I asked for sausage and I got bacon. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, it was completely left out of my order. I asked for scrambled eggs, they sent fried eggs.
This was my first time ordering with this restaurant and unfortunately it will be the last. One person didn’t get to have breakfast, and the other person’s order was wrong.

I love Texas Weiner because my Italian hot dog look and taste good. The cook fix my hot dog nice and neat, the bread was soft and toasted. The employers was pleasant and serve with a smile. The place was clean, small and cozy for customers

Small Fry
I was just there this morning and had a full breakfast including coffee. I asked for a glass of water which they told me I cannot have. They said they will only sell me bottled water. Which is a violation of New Jersey state law.
The man in the picture is the one that told me I cannot have water. Due to this poor service they are getting a negative review and no tip. I will never go back here again. In my opinion, this is a poor excuse for a business owner. Plus, they are in violation of New Jersey state law.
