We’ve been here several times and the food has always been consistently good. The menu really feels true to Sicilian cooking, with flavorful dishes that taste homemade and well thought out. You can tell care goes into the preparation.
The atmosphere has a warm, authentic vibe without feeling over the top. It’s comfortable and inviting, whether you’re stopping in for dinner or just drinks at the bar.
The cocktails are also worth mentioning. They’re well made, balanced, and pair nicely with the food.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for authentic Sicilian food and a good experience every time.

We had the most delicious dinner here! Staff is friendly and the food is fantastic! My boyfriend had the spaghetti and clams and the clams were FRESH – not canned like at Fillipi’s. We can’t wait to try even more dishes. This is our new go to for Italian.

As a Calabrian descendant I’m a snob for authenticity so when I visit an Italian restaurant I compare the food to that of my family.
Francas is a great place. The people are friendly and welcoming and the patrons that visit are equally nice to be around.
The food is absolutely authentic and made with love and fresh ingredients. I don’t know who the owners are or who the chef is but that doesn’t matter.
When I had the rigatoni with Calabrian peppers it was a throw back to my grams house on Sunday. The pasta dishes with seafood are excellent and the portions and mix of seafood to pasta is perfect.
Tucked in Alpine in a quaint, well decorated place is simply too cool to pass up. Try it. You won’t be disappointed. Bravissimo’

Ordered a pizza on line. I was given a very specific pick up time of 4:41pm. The pizza was ready and waiting. Hadn’t had pizza in a while and it was delicious. Ordering process and pick up we’re easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can’t ask for much more!

Did an order online but called twice because we missed something . The person on the phone couldn’t be more accommodating, he was so nice! Daughter was even worried that the gluten free cauliflower crust looked too good once we had it and called again to double check. Turns out it IS the gluten free crust, BEST one she’s ever had since being diagnosed with celiacs last Spring. Looked JUST like regular pizza crust and tasted great to
all of us. Loved my pasta dish with herb butter sauce and husband loved his short rib ravioli with Alfredo. We will definitely order again, we’ve been missing out.

Was recommended this spot by a friend who lives in Alpine. I wasn’t so sure the drive would be worth but it was amazing !!! I got the penne Ala vodka and it was out of this world ! My buddy got the Angelos special which also great because I had a piece. My other buddy got the Tortelloni Siciliano and I had one and it was out of this world !!! They have a vast menu so I’m excited what I’m going to try when I come back. We shared fried zookini and calamari as appetizers. The waiter was very helpful for us explaining the menu. Lots of seating and the restaurant was clean which is always a plus ! They have a bar also! Can’t wait to come back

I ordered take out. The order was timed perfectly. Pizzas were amazing!! The cheese they use is delicious. The cheese and the crust can make or break a pizza. Francas has the right combination. They are delicious. I highly recommend!

This has become our favorite dining spot in Alpine! The food is absolutely outstanding. On Saturday evening, my husband and I shared the shrimp and crab special, and it was incredible. The pesto sauce was especially delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Staff is nice, but the food is terrible. Literal sysco food… I can see why the boomers love this place.
Also, the tables are very wobbly. One person rests their arm on the table your food flies off your plate and your drink spills. Not joking. They’re that wobbly. They clearly know of this… so why don’t they fix it? Tbh you know the place is going to be cheap if they call themselves “family owned”.
