This place is awesome! After seeing reviews and posts (and drooling over the pictures) | decided to stop in to Jackleg and I’m so glad I did. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and friendly. I told him it was my first time and he helped me select a pizza to my liking. I ordered the Mamas favorite pizza on NY style crust, wow it exceeded my expectations. The whipped ricotta dollops with aged mozzarella, bell peppers, and quality sausage is a winning combination of flavors, AND THAT CRUST! So good! You can tell it’s fresh dough. I also ordered their Kale Caesar salad, holy moly that is what salad dreams are made of! The baby kale is tossed and lightly coated in the salad dressing, then topped with a generous pile of fresh shaved Parmesan and crumbled toasted breadcrumbs. (Pictures attached).
The restaurant has tables for eat in, a cute little cozy couch and table in the corner too, just a really cool vibe.
I ordered ToGo this time, but will definitely eat in on the next visit.
Jackleg is serving quality food with well thought out flavors. Highly recommend.

Awesome NYC sourdough pizza. This place is doing it right. Looking around and seeing the cookbooks and their titles as decor, I immediately thought “it looks like this guy has done the work” and hoped it was going to be good. And it didn’t disappoint!! A constant flow in and out for pickup. We will be back to try both the Detroit and Chicago pub styles.
Margarita mixology was spot on. Only one “complaint”, drink size for price was a little off.

Excellent pizza and staff was super nice and accommodating. Took me about a half a second to get over the tavern not being sliced into squares, but I promise triangles taste just as good. The decor and library are pretty great as well.

Located “Off the Beaten Path” So it’s a little out of the way for convenience. However, it’s next door to the Old Bust Head Brewery which makes it a unique spot.

Quality of the Pizza…Ordered a “Supreme Pizza” and 1/2 Pepperoni, and in my opinion the flavor is better than most local pizza places. If they would just add a little bit More toppings, that alone would have made it a 4 Star ⭐️ Pizza …..,instead of a 3 Star ⭐️

I’m from New York, so I don’t hand out praise for pizza lightly. I thought I knew what good pizza was until I had Jackleg. The crunch on the crust is exactly right, the flavors are dialed in, and every single bite is outstanding. This isn’t just “good for the area” pizza — it’s legitimately great pizza, period.

On top of that, the staff are friendly, gracious, and clearly care about what they’re doing. Every visit is a great experience from the moment you walk in. Jackleg does it the right way — no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just excellent pizza and good people. Easily the best pizza in Warrenton, and better than a lot of places back home.

We’re pizza snobs. We love NY pizza, are huge fans Spittony’s in New Baltimore, and belived the best pizza anywhere is found at Lou Malnati’s in Chicago…until now.
Based on the recommendation of a friend, we tried this place out. It’s only a few short miles from our home, but Spittony’s is so much closer, we never saw the need to drive any further.
To find them, we had to slowly cruise by the row of shops leading to the Old Busthead Brewery on the Vint Hill Technology Campus. The signage could be a little better. The decor is minimalist but very tasteful.
The staff is eager and helpful but not obtrusive. The menu is simple with three types of dough, several recommended pizzas (all of which sound amazing), and the option to build your own.
We had the G.O.A.T. (red sauce, aged mozzarela, pepperoni,) on Detriot (thick crust). It sounds simple but this is an incredible pizza!
The crust was buttery, somehow, amazingly light, with just the right amount of crunch along the ridges. The toppings were nothing short of superb, and the aromas! With the first bite, we looked at eahc other and immediately agreed it is the best pizza we’ve ever had. It’s that good! One bite convinced us.
Prices are moderate but not inexpensive. The service is great. They serve soft drinks from a cooler (try the cream soda). Seating is comfortable but minimalist and fairly sparse. Parking is ample and easy. They work with the Old Busthead Brewery and offer the option to order directly from Jackleg while sitting at your table in the brewery.
We’ll be back soon to explore the rest of the menu!

The pizza was good, however, we didn’t really taste the cheese on either pizza. We were told they had a large party coming in and due to very limited seating we would have to take it to go or eat at Old Bust Head Brewery. We chose the brewery, feeling guilty for taking their seats we bought drinks. The pizzas took about 35 minutes and we never received the text saying it was ready.

It is easy to miss this place, but don’t! I go to the veterinarian a few doors down all the time and never even noticed it. Yesterday we were coming back from Warrenton and were pretty hungry. We knew about a brewery a few doors down, only bc that one has a huge sign, and Jackleg has an arrangement to provide pizza there. That is how we discovered them. They will literally deliver it to your table, but since we did not want alcohol, we decided to just walk over. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. And we have lived a few decades. Highly recommend for very friendly service by the owners themselves and some truly great food.

I have eaten at Jackleg Pizza many times since they opened and have never been disappointed. Recently I placed an order for 15 pizzas to be delivered on a Sunday at the brewery next door for a surprise birthday. The pizzas were delivered exactly as we asked, to be brought over as they came out of the oven. They were hot, fresh and delicious and everyone raved about how good they were. Everything was perfect from the owner who took our order earlier in the week to the server who brought our pizzas, and then followed up with boxes and extra napkins, it could not have been any better. It will continue to be my go-to pizza place when I am visiting the brewery or ordering takeout for home.

Ordered: “The Bear” – New York style. It was really good! Great flavor, good sauce and i loved the pickled veg. My only gripe was it got pretty floppy towards the center. Overall I liked it! I wanna come back and try the Detroit style, sadly they were sold out by the time we got there.
