Drove into Breckenridge Tx and decided to dine in. Place is clean, staff is friendly and the food was good. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs. 5/5 highly recommend.

There were only two girls running around taking orders and running the register. It took forever for anything we needed. The food was decent, maybe we came on a bad day. Very Tex-mex food. We ordered 2 plates and one of them was wrong. We didn’t want to wait for the correct order.

Nothing like a roadside dinner that knows how it is done! I always stop here for breakfast when I am in town. So good! Only one person working service and register. She works so hard! The lady has skill!

I’m not a local but my parents are. They love this place…I don’t know why. The breakfast isn’t terrible (egg & charizo plate) but the lunch is atrocious. My wife and wife got tacos, chicken fried steak and my mother got grilled chicken breast.

The Mexican rice is anything but- white mush with some very light seasoning. The chicken fried steak was the same style of food from my high school cafeteria 20 years ago. The grilled chicken breast came with a slice of kraft style cheese for some reason. Did not seem the least bit appealing.

Servers have always been nice on my visits so nothing negative to say there.

I do not recommend. If you have a choice, head to Ernie’s.

Great breakfast menu! Our church has Men’s Breakfast there once a month on Sunday. Staff does a great job of corralling us and getting us out and to services on time!
