I’m usually a rice person and rarely go for anything else, but when my friend ordered Chole Bhature from here, I decided to try a bite — and wow, I was genuinely impressed! The bhature were incredibly soft and perfectly fluffy, and the chole had rich, flavorful spices that made every bite delicious. The taste felt authentic and comforting.
I also ordered the Paneer Biryani for myself, and it was equally amazing — perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was generous.
Overall, I’m fully satisfied with the experience. Great taste, good quality, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend this place!

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food is super delicious, and you can truly taste the freshness in every bite. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared, full of flavor and served beautifully.
The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they really care about quality. From appetizers to the main course, every dish was outstanding. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall experience was just perfect.

Very dissappointed with the order today…noodles were stale, paneer was chewy and was not at all close to tasting anything like chilli paneer, manchurian gravy had a burnt after taste and had excess tomato (sour/sweet taste)! Tandoor vegetables were either burnt or not cooked…Used to be one of the good restaurants serving Indian food, but cannot think of ordering from here ever
again!!

I got samosas and the chickpeas were not done all the way and I think they were too salty too.
The tandoori vegetables were okay too.
The assorted rotis were what I liked the best. I usually like all curries/sauces etc but their brownish reddish sauce tasted like bbq sauce with Indian spices. I think it would go as a good sauce with multiple food items but it seemed Americany.

We recently celebrated our child’s birthday at this restaurant and everything was beyond our expectations. The arrangements were excellent, the staff was very attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Most importantly, the food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. We truly appreciate the service and would highly recommend this place for special celebrations.

Finally an authentic and delicious Indian restaurant right in Rutherford. We’re locals in the area and have loved everything we’ve tried from Sanjha Dhaba and continue to try more things. Never disappoints. Food quality is outstanding!

My wife and visited today for lunch after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed.
The decor of the restaurant is nice. Avi, our server was polite, attentive and made us feel welcomed.
We stated with the vegetables samosas which were simply delicious. Next we had curry fish, shrimp tiki marsala and garlic naan. All were explosions of tasty delights to our palate. The flavors were truly delicious. We will definitely be taking the 35 minutes drive and visiting again for additional wonderful dinning experiences. Thank you to Avi and the Chef for an amazingly enjoyable lunch.

The food here is pretty good but their availability is absolutely terrible. There is no consistency to which days they are open or the hours they are open. I mainly do takeaway from this restaurant and there have been times when I ordered through their website they never received the order or they were simply not available. They only pick up the phone for orders 50% of the time. For these reasons I am about to find up on this restaurant and find a better alternative Indian restaurant.
