Food:
– Breakfast burrito w/ Chorizo: best I have had and I used to run a taco restaurant. Fresh, made-to-order heat, flavored balanced perfectly, tator-tots stuffed and crunchy.
– Suadero brisket taco: perfect street taco, not too wet, not dry, balanced, traditional, home.
Ambience:
– Clean
– Tasteful decor, not overbearing
– On-brand music, not just top-40
– Menu is simple and focused, they know what they are good at and no extra fluff
Service:
– Cute call cards with different pictures for your orders, not just a number or confusing names
– Staff is quick and efficient
Would I come here again?
– Most definitely, not sure why I waited so long.
– Bringing the family next time
– Go-to place for tacos in the area

If you’re considering skipping this place, don’t. I got the carne asada quesadilla and an al pastor taco on flour. Both came within 5 minutes of ordering, was very clearly made fresh. Both items were SO good. Will be coming back if I’m back in this area.

TL;DR: nice staff, delicious salsa & mezcal marg, unsure on tacos
Staff was wonderful, and place looks nice. The mezcal margarita was very delicious and mezcal forward.
The tacos are maybe hit or miss. The nopales tacos were pretty good, but not many nopale slices. Reminded me of when rusty taco gave me 3 slivers of peppers in their veggie taco.
Al pastor tacos relied on the pineapple chunks for flavor rather than true authentic Al pastor seasoning.
The beef tacos were pretty decent.
Overall the tacos were not BAD, per sa. Definitely had worse. But not a place I would go to if I wanted flavorful tacos that stand on their own. (Think, people who say good bbq don’t need sauce). With that said both their Verde and rojo salsa were delicious. Not spicy in the moment but spicy the next day.
Overall, I would come here again if I wanted a legit and flavorful mezcal margarita and would grab a side of tacos with it. For the tacos themselves I may head elsewhere.

Great afforable authentic Mexican food in a fast and clean environment. Ambience makes you feel beachside in Mexico. Horses races running on the TVs for any horestrack gambling afficiandos.

Really good tacos with plenty of meat on them. I had the Pastor and Asada, both were really good. My only minor complaint is the taco shells/tortillas were not the greatest, I have had better. Both taco sauces were amazing! I will definitely be going back.

I had family at Baylor Grapevine for 2 weeks.
Eatzi’s is a favorite, but I needed some different food.
I love taco shops, especially ones that are authentic. Taco La Central taco stand was perfect.
I opted for a burrito, asked for some extras and the non English speaking cashier gave me a very nice smile! I was completely satisfied!
It was a great value – meaning a lot of delicious food for the money!
I highly recommend with confidence.

This place is definitely worth checking out. The Cali burrito is amazing topped off with their delicious tomatillo green sauce and cilantro. They also have delicious pollo asado/grilled chicken that is amazing. Enjoy!!!!

Fantastic tacos, great tortillas. They know how to do it right. They did a great job with the bean burrito. Yummmm I don’t know what kind of cheese they used with it, but it was heavenly. And the burrito was huge! Everything had great flavors and wasn’t overly salty. The nopales were good; the chicken and the pork both had great flavors. We’ll definitely be back. The place has plenty of room and looks really nice.

Will not be going back. Food was good but the cashier was the rudest person. From the moment we walked in at 8pm (they close at 9) we weren’t even greeted “good night” “what can I get for you” …nothing just a blank stare. I realized quickly she was annoyed but none the less we ordered when she saw we were dining in the attitude got worse. Her temper was short as I had a lot of questions, it being my first time and all. We ignored it and waited. When I realized the taco I ordered had salsa and I wouldn’t be able to share with my baby I got up to order another one before the food was ready. When she was taking my order I asked if she would be able to put the salsa on the side, she flat out said no. I said why not do you guys pre make them? She’s says no it’s just not an option. I said why she said it’s just not. I said why can’t you just tell the cook not to put salsa on it? By this time I was already offended because of the tone she was using for no reason. I asked her to put my items to go and watched her as she tried to stuff my four orders into 1 bag and still try to stuff a cup of corn into that same plastic bag I asked her to place it in another bag because it clearly doesn’t fit. She was mad. I asked to speak to the manager she said she was her. I asked a cook to come out so I could let him know the situation so he can let the owner know what kind of people she has at the front of her store…. Btw when I got the taco there was salsa just poured on top…… howwww could this not be poured into a container??? I have worked for mom and pop restaurants in my early years as a waitress and mind you no matter what kind of day your having always treat people with respect because you want those people to come back. I will not be coming back as long as this is the customer service they give. I already get enough attitude from my teenager I don’t need it from a middle aged woman because she’s mad someone came in late.

I tried a California burrito in Texas for the first time.
I’ve never been disappointed here before, but wow… this time
Because of a dairy allergy, I asked for no cheese or crema,
and my California burrito ended up being just steak and green onions
I think there may have been a mistake.
Their tacos and salsas are so good — honestly, one of the best taco shops in the DFW area.
I’ll definitely be back to make up for this disappointment.*
