OMG, I just purchased my food(Lemon pepper and Mambo Sauce wings with ). I decided to try a wing and some before I pulled off…I couldn’t stop eating!!! Everything was nice and hot! The wings were to die for! Best lemon pepper wings I have had!!!! The Mambo Sauce wings were off da chain, too!!!! I will be back!

Trying black owned businesses in Charlotte and stumbled across Queen City Wings. Customer service was delightful. Store was nice and clean with a lovely smell. Fries were so good they didn’t make it home. But unfortunately I did order and pay for 20 wings and only got 12. Other than that I will definitely recommend just make sure you check your bag before leaving.

I saw this place on a couple of best wings list, so I added it to our list for team lunch. It won the vote last week, so I got to try it.
This is definitely a whole in the wall, which I love. It probably wasn’t the best place for a team lunch since it’s mostly take out. They have two small tables with some extra chairs, so we were able to make it work without taking it to go.
There are several things on the menu that looked good other than wings, but I had to get wings. My husband and I split 20 wings which came with fries. Typically, you can get two different sauces for 20 wings, but they let me get 4 for a couple dollars more. I got the Triple Whammy (sweet BBQ & spicy sweet and sour), All Purpose (Asian Polynesian with a kick), Crown Town (Lemon Pepper with Buffalo sauce), and Barbalo (Buffalo/BBQ).
They were all quite good, but my ranking would be: All Purpose, Triple Whammy, Barbalo, Crown Town. I probably wouldn’t get Crown Town again because it just tasted like Buffalo sauce. I couldn’t taste the Lemon Pepper at all. I loved the others. They were unique flavors and quite tasty. The fries were my favorite kind of fries. They were battered, crispy, and full of flavor.
We got our food pretty fast and you could get sides of ranch and blue cheese. Unfortunately, they only had bottled water, but I brought my water bottle with me.
I’d definitely recommend checking this place out for some delicious, inexpensive wings.

BEST wings in the QC. Moved here almost 5 years ago and have been a strong advocate for Wing King on S Tryon, BUT these wings put WK to shame. Only downside is they do not make in house ranch or blue cheese, but that’s not a deal breaker for me . Great flavors, great prices, great wings
