This Taco Bell is one of the worst locations in Charlottesville. Sometimes I will go out of my way to another location so I don’t have to deal with the inconsistency of this one. There is one employee there that actually has good customer service etiquette. Other times some employees have been rude. One time I heard an employee yelling at another one over the ordering speaker.

I am writing this review because my most recent order was disgusting and definitely did not live up to the “quality control” that Taco Bell expects. I got a steak grilled cheese burrito and it looked like this (see attached photo). I would have taken it back if I hadn’t waited until I got home to open my food. No cheese in sight and the contents were covering the outside. The cherry on top was that there was more tortilla than actual filling. A burrito should not look like a rotting corpse. My friend got one that also looked like this.

So, I am not a fan of taco bell. Charlie had changed my opinion for this particular location. He was beyond helpful with my questions. Very personable. I will look for his friendly face next time I come in, because of him I will be back

I wasn’t going to leave a review since it’s an average Taco Bell, but I got a notification asking how it was when I went last and the drive through employee was rude when I did go recently. I went around 1:40am on 2/26/2026. I know the restaurant closes at 2am, but I had just gotten off my 10 hour shift at the hospital, I have a 40-50 minute commute home, I just wanted something to tie me over when I got home. I only ordered a bean burrito, nothing crazy. The interaction was normal at first, but when I pulled up to the window, the younger girl didn’t say a word. Just opened the window, grabbed my card, handed it back, gave me my food, and slammed the window in my face.

I’ve worked in customer service most of my career, so I always try to be nice. So imagine my disappointment when I say thank you every time she handed me something and then closes the window on my face after everything. I get it, it’s 20 minute before close, and I don’t expect you to act like a ray of sunshine at 1am, but if you’re getting paid to engage with the customer, the least you could do is that.

Also, my expectations aren’t high at all for Taco Bell, but the bean burrito I got that night had SO MANY diced onions that I had to scoop out most of them. Like spoonfuls of it. It felt almost malicious because of the amount of onions in my burrito, lol. And the cheese wasn’t melted at all. Just a small complaint.

I’m not boycotting Taco Bell or anything, but I hope I don’t get that same girl again. I’m sure the service is much better during the day, but not everyone at night is a belligerent customer, guys. 🙁

wow! the service was absolutely terrible. my guacamole was hardly filled. It looks like they just took a spoon and put one dollop into the container. when I asked if they could fill it completely since I paid a whole extra 1.30 for it, they said this is how all of the sides look and we’re extremely rude and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the whole situation. I’m extremely disappointed.

I placed an app order today 2/21/26. It’s my daughter’s 16th birthday and I have the flu so I couldn’t cook anything for her. She loves Taco Bell. My order was over $80. We get our order home and not only were the 8 nacho fries missing, but everything was ice cold. I’m not talking about lukewarm. I would have accepted warm. It was like the food was stored in the refrigerator. I’m highly disappointed. This was the only thing I could do for my daughter today for her birthday since I am sick and the food was awful.

My “cheesy” roll up was nothing more than basically a tortilla. Not to mention everything else ordered was stale and lacking, also my stacker was missing cheese all together. I came here and left feel worse than when I arrived, 0.01/10 experience 🙁

My nacho fry container was genuinely only filled halfway and had so little seasoning they were basically regular fries. It’s not like the fries are coming out of your wallet so I don’t understand why they skimp so much. They also skimped on the steak in the steak cheesy dipping burritos and it was basically mostly tortilla every bite. A sad sad meal

Terrible service. I’m a regular customer here (UVA student), and before today their food and service has been the bare minimum – just enough to keep me from airing grievances.

Today pushed me over the edge – I ordered 4 items online about 10 minutes before getting there, but the workers, who were socializing at the time, only started preparing once they saw me arrive (empty restaurant, mind you). This took another 10 minutes of me waiting at the front counter as they kept talking. After I left, I noticed they forgot my chips and cheese. Thus, it took them about 20 minutes to prepare 3 items of the 4 I ordered.

Moving onto past experiences – I regularly notice their workers smoking outside during breaks. Nobody is at the front counter to take your order. If you’re ordering delivery for a group of people, there’s probably a 75% chance they forget at least one item. I’m not asking for restaurant-level service from middle-aged minimum wage workers, but the least they could do is take their job and customers seriously.

The food itself is pretty standard for Taco Bell, and honestly quite cheap if you order online.

Horrible, everything I order was wrong or missing. Also, look at the condition it was given to me! Instead of 12 tacos it was 6, Mexican pizza all over the inside of the bag and other food not even wrapped. I am not eating this because who knows what else was done to the food. It looks like someone already went through it before we got it.

When I say there was barely a sprinkle of cheese in the cheese quesadilla, I mean it was practically just two toasted tortillas smooshed together. I don’t expect a ton, but it’d be nice to at least see a tiny bit of effort……
