Armin and Judy is an iconic piece of the Hamptons food scene. Have eaten here more than once over the years, and did again 2 days ago. It’s a relaxed place to visit with simple decoration, nice bar, and it attempts to emulate the simple French bistro menu. Behind the restaurant is a bakery, offering various breads including baguette and olive boule, viennoiseries (croissants, pain au chocolat, etc), and sundry specialty items such as olive from unassuming places, such as Albania.

There is a lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by beautiful nature, mainly trees and a pond. A chicken coop of beautiful hens resembling Rhoda Island Reds and a separate coop for what appear to be Chinese cockerels, is nearby, and nice for children to see.

The pastries miss the mark for me, but worth a try for others. I prefer my Viennese items butterier, flakier and less chewy.

On the main menu is an AWESOME tuna and olive salad, containing giant beans, capers, sun dried tomatoes and the perfect taste of Mediterranean goodness for a summer day (or any day!)

Keep in mind the Hamptons is not a cheap place to eat, but I’d say the value at Armin and Judy is slightly under par for portions to pricing. I ordered quiche, which came with a side salad, for over $20. I was expecting “a quiche.” What I got was a slice of quiche…

Go check it out. It’s definitely a good place, sure to provide something to everyone in your party’s fancy.

My girlfriend and I went for the 4th of July and we loved every detail of the restaurant. Everyone in the staff was so friendly including our server Turan. I recommend everything from
Their happy hour to their dinner service menu. Truly a gem

Best eggs benedict I’ve ever had! This place is a hidden gem. Never been to dinner here, but the breakfast is always quiet and not busy at all. Service is fast and friendly. Authentic French bakery items and coffee. The espresso here will please coffee enthusiasts, and I’m partial to grabbing at least one bakery item every time I come as well.

I stopped by this bakery/café for the first time today and ordered two croissants and one small hot latte with two pumps of caramel syrup. Unfortunately, I was charged for two lattes, as the employee insisted I had ordered two and claimed she had confirmed it with me. Rather than issuing a credit, she asked me to choose a bakery item of equal value, which I agreed to.

After returning to my car and taking a sip of the latte, I realized my drink had also been made incorrectly. I believe instead of two pumps of caramel she made me two lattes. Given the multiple errors with my order, I felt compelled to leave this review.

Armin and Judy’s IMHO has the best-tasting Rugelach in NY. They also sell pastry that I do not see in other bakeries, like the Swedish Bun and the buttermilk cookie with peach bits.

I have never had to wait long on line to order anything in the two years that I have been coming here. The line moves that fast!

Overpriced and lacking any real flavor. Go to your local coffee shop instead of paying $5 for a cup of coffee. I’ve had better pastries. The inside looks nice, and the sugar apricot cookie was good but not worth a trip

Yes this is one of the best bakeries in the hamptons but beware that they have the worst, most apathetic service in town also. Your best bet is to go directly to the bakery and self serve. Too bad because the restaurant food is amazing but I am not willing to endure the rude service in order to eat there again.

Yummy dinner with the family during social distancing. Tables were really nice and far apart. Great service and food was delicious! Had the farmer pizza (pictured) which was soooo good. I’ve never had a Square pizza crust like that, the fermented dough came out like a crusty pastry that was light, airy and so unique. Fried chicken was also very tasty, and the salads were super fresh. Definitely check this place out!
