I’m just sharing a review of Hunan Wok Over on Beach Boulevard. Jackie, the fellow behind the counter is an exceptionally kind and friendly person. He will do anything to make your order right. I needed to get some food last weekend, so went in there and ordered the Singapore chow fun. It was plentiful and good. Also had the other dish with plenty of vegetables and chicken. So much food I’m still dealing with leftovers. I like the little hole in the wall restaurants. It’s not a fancy kind of place. If you’re looking for fancy, you need to go somewhere else but it’s just really good honest food and the people are kind. I like to support local businesses so that’s why I’m writing about this restaurant today. Next time I’ll take photos

Do not order from here. They provided a delivery time before the order was placed and then after payment was sent they informed me it would be an hour longer than that. I immediately cancelled so that I could receive food sooner from somewhere else and they still posted the charge on my CC. Over $180 charge and I got no food

Came here a few years ago, and the food was great. Came in today and it is completely different. Food was gross and of extremely low quality. The “pork” had the look, consistency, and texture of pork someone else had already chewed up and spit out into the bowl. Also the “garlic sauce” (completely different from last time) was identical to the sauce on the human beef. It was all very gross. Will never be back.

It was okay the lo mein was very soft. The bourbon chicken had no flavor I’d never tasted bourbon chicken like that before and the chicken was tough.The fried rice was good though, spring rolls are the size of your thumb. Probably wouldn’t eat there again
