I try to support local small businesses but this is beyond ridiculous. Now which kind scam this be o?! I tried to give this place 1 last try and again I’m disappointed. The food and quantity used to be good and worth the money but now since they moved to this bigger location, they’ve increased the prices ($17 per combo) and decreased the portions of food. Extremely unethical. Not only have they increased the prices they charge EXTRA $4 for 1 piece of meat such as beef, goat, and Pomo (cow skin) etc… PER PIECE!! Small pieces at that. No bigger than an .50 cent piece.. And more bone than meat. Even the moi moi is $3 for a mouthwash cup size each. I ordered 1 order and was charged $6 for 2 little cups..When the website clearly states 2 pieces for $3.. RIDICULOUS! They never have puff puff or meat pies. The prices change daily regardless of what the website says. There’s always an excuse. Even the jollof is tasting different. Honestly that was the only reason I was patronizing this place because of the rice. No longer will I after this final attempt .. So don’t order and think you’ll get what you see advertised on their website or the price shown.. lai lai.. on top of that they are extremely slow. It’ll take over an hour after you place your order, even if you want to dine in. I ordered an efo combo it had a plantain sticker in it. Yuck! GBEGIRI-EWEDU should have assorted meats but nope they are charging for each piece. Ordered this as well and of course Looks nothing like the advertised picture. ALL The portions are extremely small no matter which combo or side you order. Other small businesses aren’t trying to bust your head with over charging and give you tiny portions.. These containers aren’t the large size and definitely aren’t filled up. If you call in to order and ask for a total, they tell you to call back in 10-15 mins about 3xs.. why? When you go pick up the order something is always missing. ALWAYS! It’s not even worth it anymore. They should humble themselves and stop cheating people. If people stop patronizing their business then they will rethink business ethics. I won’t waste money here again. I’ll spend my money at the Jamaican or Latino spot. I won’t be disappointed about the portions. Buyer Beware!!

DoorDash order. The asaro was not asaroing. More like old yam n stew mixed together to say they had asaro. I literally picked it up like a chicken nugget. The meat was fried good but flavorless. The ayamase looked disgusting, smelled spoilt and only had fatty parts. I didn’t even bother with that. The rice was mid and the only thing that was great was the $4 piece of chicken. Pls update menu to say “one choice of” and not “one of each”. Kind of wild to pay $4 for a piece of chicken when a pack of obasanjo is like 6 bucks… but I get it convenience. I wish I could have tried the moin moin and meat pie because maybe that would have been redeeming because these reviews gave me high hopes. Overall trash, inedible and a waste of $55.33, but a lesson in laziness…Who sent me to go order food I can make myself? Really disappointed though.. This can’t be Nigerians making this food.

The food was mostly delicious. The Egusi and Efo Riro were amazing! Both were great and flavorful. However, the jollof rice was just just okay, and not very flavorful. It tasted almost herbal, as there didn’t seem to be a lot of spice or taste from the tomatoes. Service wise, I could tell the waitress was trying her best and she was always able to help us kindly despite being understaffed. The bell ringing system was a little odd, but I give an A for effort and it seemed like they really try to make the restaraunt look nice. I would recommend and will be coming back. Everything was great, though the Jollof could use some improvement.

My husband and I visited. The egusi and fufu was great. It was recommended that I have it with both vegetable and beef which was a good combination. We even took food home for later. Definitely want to come back soon!

I placed an order from Kuramo and while their food is tasty, I am not impressed with how they packaged their food. This packaging defeats the purpose of a safety seal. Attached is one picture from Kuramo and another picture from another restaurant with same cuisine both delivered on same day. Kuramo kindly buy a stapler and invest in safety as priority.

Ever have a server try to talk you OUT OF what you order? Or go to the kitchen to get SOMEONE ELSE to help them talk you out of it? No? Me, either. Nor have I ever had the meals for our party (2 people) come out 10 minutes apart — and we were literally the only people there. And the server didn’t ask to take our drink orders, though they had beer.
They only accept cash tips, so don’t try to add it to the receipt like you would in the rest of the western world. The decor is awful and there was wiring hanging out of the wall.
I will say the food was decent, though my order was incorrect and the portion was pretty small for the price I paid. I certainly will not be returning there. The pix of their catering/carryout look good but DO NOT represent what our orders looked like.
And make sure you go to the right location, as they’re listed at 2, but only exist at 1.

This restaurant need complete renovation. You can see flies flying around. Chef/server/ host all was handled by one person. Kitchen look dirty from outside. Food was not good at all.
