I had lunch here today. I had the ribs plate with 2 sides. I had a salad without cheese and French fries. The salad was fresh and the dressing was good. The fries were also hot and fresh. I brought water with me. The ribs had a great smoke flavor. They weren’t fall of the bone tender, but most of it was tender. I couldn’t tell much difference between the sweet bbq & mild bbq sauce. But they had a descent flavor. The restaurant is in the square, so I walked there after visiting scoops. The restaurant is a descent size. There is some parking right in front of the restaurant but not a lot but there is parking all around in the area. You place your order at the front. They bring the food to you if you are eating in. However, they don’t bring you silverware, you have to get it out of a turn stile, I thought that was a bit unusual. The employees were friendly. However, no one actually waited on me. So I’m assuming it more like a self serve restaurant. Someone asked me while they were behind the counter was everything ok with me. I gave her a thumbs up and that was it for someone checking on me. It may have been because I was by myself or it’s a self serve restaurant, but I’m not sure. I would visit again but I would get a different kind of meat.

I decided to give them a try. I spent $50 and the food didn’t have any seasoning and it was overcooked. I ordered ribs and brisket. It was so difficult to chew the brisket, it was so tough. I chose not to call or return my food because I wanted to avoid confrontation. The young lady that gave me my food was very sweet. The mild bbq sauce was very good. I don’t think I’d return

The staff members are patient and polite; you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They always keep an eye on you and thank you when you leave. It’s a modest place with a simple menu, and I hope it stays that way in the future. Half pound barbecue and sweet tea it’s all I need! Thank you for preserving small town/country traditions.

The BBQ is very tender, tasty, and the sauce they have is delicious! Not too sweet or tangy. I enjoy their mild sauce – not too sweet or tangy, just a good balance of both. I didn’t try the hot. Also, I highly recommend the Q-Taters!!

Food was great! I had the patty melt, and the sandwich was more than enough in quantity and excellent in flavor. Definitely look forward to going back to try other menu items. Great little jewel tucked away on the squarr.

I had a great experience eating at this restaurant. I got the chicken plate, potato salad, and beans. Everything was delicious. Employees were friendly. I enjoyed the small town restaurant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This “Chili Dog” gets 0 stars. It was not good at all; this was a waste of my money. The bun was soggy (as if dipped in water) I’m assuming because of the Chili; I was like a kid taking it from the bun and just eating the meat. And the Hot Dog meat was salty. I will never order this again. I’ll just stick to their Ribs.

This was our first time eating at Bradley’s Bar-B-Que. Whoever cooked the Ribs can take a bow; they where tasty. But the Potato Salad and (regular) Baked Beans I don’t plan on ordering again. The Potato Salad had WAY TOO MUCH salt in it (I don’t even put salt in the potato salad I make), and the Baked Beans just didn’t taste good (to me). For my husband I ordered: Turkey, (regular) Baked Beans, and Brunswick Stew. He stated; “Everything was good.”
Overall: The young lady that took my order was friendly and patience, I’ll patronize them again.

I’m in town visiting my mom and wanted something different. I don’t get good BBQ often so my sister and I thought we’d give this place a try. And boy did it deliver!!!

From the moment we walked in the cashier Reagan helped us to decide what we should get after meeting her know it was our first time there! We ordered our food, grabbed drinks sat at a table and before you know it we had our food! While eating, the owner, Martha, stopped to make sure everything was good. We have her all the praise!!

I highly suggest stopping by and grabbing some of this absolutely delicious food!!

I had the brisket with potato salad and baked beans! Nothing disappointed!!

My sister had the pulled pork with the Brunswick stew and Bradley’s beans. Nothing disappointed here either!! I suggest all of it!! This was our lunch and we ate going back for dinner!!!! Lol but seriously though!

REAL Barbeque!

Gainesville, Georgia. 11 am.
I was headed for Florida. Driving the back roads to avoid the ATL traffic. Interstate ain’t for me!

Denied breakfast, I heard those familiar low growls from my midsection. I was hungry.
But I was looking for something special. For lunch.
NO fast food. NEVER!
NO chain restaurants. NOT this time, bud.

I wasn’t quite sure what I was in the mood for, but I KNEW I’d KNOW it when I SAW it…

It was then I seemed to sense the scentual aroma of slow cooked meat over a real pit.
Barbeque!
YES! THAT’S what I was in the mood for!
At that moment, I was tempted to pull over and do my usual online search. But it was still a little too early for lunch, so I ambled on.
Mile after mile after mile.

Turns out, I believe I was being led by the nose to Covington. I just felt it. Movie town, here I come.

Once in town, that is when I hit the web. I sniffed out a place called Bradley’s Real Pit Barbeque. Hmmmm. Let’s do it!

EXACTLY EVERYTHING I EVER wanted in the way of Barbeque!!!
I ordered the Half Rack of Ribs, with fries and beans.
What I got was a STACK of RIBS…with those delectable fries and beans.
Ribs. The HOLY Grail of the grill.

The Fall off the Bone smoky goodness carried me to lip smacking, finger lickin, OHHHHHH YEAH ville!
Man! Those ribs!
(I AM a rib aficionado. A connoisseur of pit cooking).
THESE were no fib ribs. FINER than fine with a huge touch of yum.
OHHHHH Yeah.

I now LOVE Bradley’s. Looking for any excuse to drive north, to Movie town and sit down.
Like the Terminator said, “I’ll be back!”

Once you enter the store, the friendly faces are there welcoming you. We ordered the barbecue salad with turkey and it was delicious. We also ordered the Chili Dog and the Slaw Dog. Both dogs were tasty, but the actual hot dogs were salty.
