Hidden gem in Galt – worth the stop every time!

I was just passing through Galt and decided to stop by The Coffee Shop Bakery, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm, welcoming atmosphere—it has that cozy, small-town charm that instantly makes you feel right at home.

We arrived a little later in the morning, and while many of the pastries had already sold out, that honestly just speaks to how good they are. Everything is baked fresh daily, and you can tell this is a place locals truly love and support.

The food was fantastic. We had a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, filling, and perfectly prepared. I also ordered the full order of biscuits and gravy, and it did not disappoint. Rich, comforting, and full of flavor—exactly what you want from a classic breakfast dish.

One of the highlights was getting to meet the owners. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us. Finding out that the shop is family-owned and family-run made the experience even better—you can really feel the care and pride they put into everything they do.

The coffee was delicious, smooth, and expertly made, with a great variety of flavors to choose from. Whether you prefer a classic cup or something more adventurous, there’s plenty to love here.

If you’re in Galt—or even just passing through—The Coffee Shop Bakery is absolutely worth the stop. Amazing breakfast, fresh baked goods, great coffee, and genuinely kind owners. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

I went in first time this morning to grab a latte and decided to try a piece of the coffee cake. Good god, I have never ever had a coffee cake that delicious. Perfect balance of spices, not overly sweet and the moisture and texture next level. You know how most coffee cakes you need something to wash it down with? Not this one, its really that good. The latte was made perfectly as well. Ill definitely be back and will also try their sandwiches. Inside is warm and inviting, perfect place to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. Give it a try!

Recently stopped in as my family and I were in the area. I ordered an iced americano and a bear claw. I love my coffee fresh and bold and my cup did not disappoint. The claw was fresh and tasted amazing. As for the atmosphere, the place gave me that Midwest homey vibe and spacious, which we found to be really comfortable. I didn’t realize that they sold breakfast until it was pointed out to me as we were leaving. I’ll have to stop by to try that in the future.

Visited in September with my sister. It was late in their day so the proprietor offered us bakery items two for one. They bake daily, everything fresh! My sister asked about sugar free options. None available, except maybe sugar free syrup for the coffees. Anyway, nice place, friendly service. Pleasant experience.

First, I am a black coffee drinker and I avoid chains whenever I can. Stopped at The Coffee Shop Bakery while traveling 99. Wonderful local coffee shop! Friendly staff, good coffee and breakfast sandwiches and a yummy baked treat. To top it off, a lovely, clean bathroom (a must on a travel day)! I would love to be able to sit a while and read one day, but always keep this on my list of travel stops.

I have been to this shop 4 times and I really enjoy it. Fun Americana vibe, with a variety of different types of seating. Lots of delicious drinks and freshly made muffins, croissants, turnovers, breakfast sandwiches, and biscuits and gravy. They even have a small free book library and a shelf with a few board games and puzzles. I will definitely be coming back more often.

Cozy, vinatge vibe with super friendly and fast service. This place is so close to home and exactly what I was looking for, no more starbucks for me, this is definitely the place to be for delicious “homey” breakfast, desserts, coffee, and teas 🙂 I am particular when it comes to breakfast/brunch places but I definitely have all good things to say about this place and look forward to going again!

Super nice cafe in Galt. They make all there own pastries each morning and they are delicious. We tried the pumpkin apple bread- they only make it during October so a no brainer. It was moist with large chunks of yummy apple wrapped within the lovely cinnamon bread all topped with yummy cinnamon sugar mix. The strudel was delicious with its flaky pastry and gooey raspberry filling really hit the spot with a nice americano coffee. Also the latte was super nice and served very warm. Nice on a rainy chilly day. Also pet friendly for well behaved leashed pets.

They burnt my oat milk latte. Was as hot as an Americano. They let dogs in, so that’s cool.
