Stopped in our our way back from Arizona. I like Boulder City and just wanted to try a place I haven’t been before. This was a nice little spot. Not a lot of room for a bunch of people, but there was a fair amount of bar seating as well as some tables. Very open feel to the place. Very friendly service, too! Menu is kind of limited, but the food was really good! It was a cooler and rainy day, so my wife got some simple grilled cheese and tomato bisque. I grabbed their meatball appetizer and tried the Reuben sandwich. Nothing disappointed, even the Reuben. I would have preferred more sauerkraut on it, but I find that everywhere I go. I realize not everyone is a big fan of sauerkraut. I am, but food is made to please the masses, not just me. The place is also veteran-owned. As a vet myself, that’s important to me. Decent selection on tap, too. Recommend.

I’ve been a regular at Hangar 502 for quite a while now, and I keep coming back because the food is consistently fresh and delicious—whether it’s their signature sandwiches, burgers, salads, or those craft cocktails, everything tastes like it’s made with care and quality ingredients, all scratch-made without fryers or microwaves. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home even on a busy day. Sure, when things get packed (which happens often because it’s that good!), the kitchen can get a bit backed up, but that’s just a sign of how delicious this spot is. They handle it with grace, and it’s totally worth the wait. If you’re looking for a great meal with a positive vibe in Boulder City, give them a try—you won’t be disappointed! Owners James/Becky and their team do an amazing job! Highly recommend, 5 stars all the way.

First off, you need to read the story behind the name (on the back of the drink menu) and then the story on the Jolly Green Giant reference (on the back of the food menu) it’s a good read. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you are part of one big family. This place is also huge on Military/ Veteran support.
My husband got the Smashburger and I got the Tail Rotor Grinder. Becky and James have really put in a lot of time into perfecting good flavor in their food.
Both of the things that we ordered were so tasty and the burger was so juicy! Quality meats and cheeses definitely come into play here. Don’t even get me started on the potato salad! It is the best I’ve ever had. So next time you’re in Boulder City, check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

We rode bikes up from the Boulder Beach Campground for a Sunday lunch. The cuban was one of the best my wife has eaten. I had the smoked pulled pork sandwich – Kansas City style. It was fantastic. We sat on the patio and soaked up the sun. I highly recommend this place! We even saw the General Lee drive by.

The Korean-style sandwich was especially memorable for my wife and me as Koreans. With a gochujang-based flavor, it was truly astonishing.
A friendly gentleman, who seemed to be the manager, kindly introduced us to a beautiful route to The Valley of Fire, and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

Great place downtown to get a delicious artisan sandwich (had the Reuben and it was tasty), burger or pizza bread (this is super tasty and perfect for sharing as an appetizer with your significant other) and to wash it all down with a cold one. After years of seeing this old flower shop sit abandoned, I have to say that I’m thrilled that James and Becky Hughes decided to buy this location and make it into the fun filled delicatessen and bar that it is today. They really did an outstanding job of making it modern while still fitting into the overall character of Boulder City. If you’re a local and haven’t popped in yet, you really need to and better yet, come with a friend. And, if you’re just passing through town or are on your way to see the Hoover Dam or play in Lake Mead, this is definitely a place that you’ll want to add to your list of places to stop in.

After touring Hoover Dam, we drove through Boulder City and stopped for lunch in the historic district. Hanger 502 was a delightful surprise. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Order the beet salad and Reuben sandwich! Free parking was a plus.

Seriously the best tomato soup I have ever had. Our group of 4 couldn’t stop raving about how good everything was. The burger, the subs, it’s all outstanding. If you are in or coming through Boulder City this is an absolute must!!!
