Way over priced, quality of food awful, if you are charging that much money at least have some quality and serving size small, fried chicken hard as rock I even couldn’t eat and then I ordered lamb and chicken beryani, that dish they sent me not even close to beryani stop scamming people with different name of dishes and selling same food as like chicken over rice and lamb over rice gyro, and being from New York I can tell the difference between beryani and chicken over rice and for God sake for $30 for that chicken over rice where literally I can count the pieces of meat, people around this town need to know more about foreign food so you guys won’t get scammed by name of dishes, I asked uber for refund

Decent food, with lots of options.
I came here late one night after work as it was one of the only restaurants that were open. So that’s definitely a bonus, they are open very late.
I made an order online on my way to the restaurant for pickup, sadly, I was informed their system was down and they never received it. So I had to just place my order once I arrived. I’m not sure if this is a normal occurrence, a one-off, or if their system is permanently down, but this is something to keep in mind. I don’t recall which service I placed it through, it was not DoorDash. But you might be better off calling in an order just to be safe, especially if you’re in a hurry.
I didn’t have to wait too long once I placed my order though.
The actual dine-in area I would say is closer to a 2 or 3 out of 5, it’s average at best. Not that clean, the atmosphere doesn’t feel very clean either. Not a place I’ll be looking to dine-in for sure.
The staff was cordial and attentive, nothing out of the ordinary.
The food was slightly above average I would say. The kebab platter was definitely good. Large menu with tons of options. I’ll definitely re-visit for some late night take out and try some of the other items.

I absolutely love the food, it’s very tasty. I’ve been coming here since it forst opened, when the prices were worth what I was paying for. Now, I’m paying double the price for a chicken gyro plate, once was 12.99 now 24.99 and I’m not getting any thing extra and the plate size has decreased. At this rate how will they be able to stay open with the amount they are charging customers for the food. Again. I love the food, I just can’t stand paying over a hundred dollars for four people to eat out, it’s crazy. I added a Pic of the plate size. If it is fitting for the cost then you all decide if my review is credible. I checked the prices against the Portland location……I feel we’re getting overcharged here in Lewiston. I noticed the owner picks what reviews to respond to. But has yet to respond to the overpricing of their food.

So I was trying to find something quick for the night and thought why not pick up some fried chicken. I walk in and immediately have to wait because the front counter person was engaged with conversation with another guest, after they finished they didn’t even start to take my order. I already saw that they didn’t have chicken ready that I wanted and was willing to wait for it. I asked the guy can I make an order for chicken and he asks what in particular I wanted. When I told him, another guy starts speaking in their language, basically telling me that they weren’t going to cook anymore chicken and I had to take what they had available. Get real ! Can’t understand how this restaurant still can afford to stay open any longer. They have went from a go to place to eat to I BETTER STAY FAR AWAY FROM. Customer service these days is a joke. Someone please rescue these guys

I love this place. Only my second time there but certainly won’t be my last. Got the 3 piece chicken meal, everything cooked to order, and I don’t typically care for fries but theirs are amazing. Shoestring style with the perfect seasoning! I didn’t even use ketchup lol!! The fried chicken is really really good and also seasoned very well. Not spicy, but has the taste of spicy which I love. Perfect crunchy exterior, perfectly soft and juicy chicken. Just awesome food, thank you!!

Before this CFC opened in Lewiston, I would travel to Portland to get CFC. I was so excited that a CFC was going to be local to me. The Portland restaurant set high standards that the Lewiston CFC doesn’t meet.
Honestly where do I start? The service is poor. People who work there are not kind nor friendly. I have never seen anyone who works there smile. They talk amongst theirselves and laugh after my boyfriend or I ask why the prices have changed so drastically. Making us feel like they are talking about us. A chicken Gyro plate used to be around 12.99 and now it’s 24.99. Smaller containers, less meat. In the past I have found hair in my food, I have found rotten lettuce in my food. They don’t even serve naan bread with their meals like the Portland CFC does. When you call to dispute something wrong with your order, they tell you the next time you come in they will give you additional chicken yet they dont take your name or know who you are so when you do go in the next time, they dont know anything about someone saying they will give you additional chicken with your order.
The atmosphere is awful. The tables, counters, and windows are always filthy. I would never eat there. The glass front door has been broken and boarded up for a while. A bunch of homeless people and people who I assume are on serious drugs are always running in and out of there and hanging out front of the establishment. I can think of 3 occasions where I have ordered food and there are customers there being loud and obnoxious carrying guns. Wheather or not they have a license to carry I don’t know and highly doubt that they do but the atmosphere always feels unsafe and sketchy. I feel like the people who work their are bias. If you are not Muslim, you do not get taken care of. I feel like they give better service to Muslims and people of their nationality. From experience, they don’t treat white females well, or African American males well.
Their food is pretty good but definitely not worth the price, especially now a days. I usually go there for fried chicken. I am more than happy to take the chicken that they have in the warmer but most times there isn’t any breast, legs, or thighs. I ask for them to please make more, they never do, leaving you to either have to take the few pieces of chicken they have or to leave.
Overall it’s a horrible establishment and they should be ashamed how they run their business and inflate their prices. I spent $100 bucks for 4 chicken Gyro plates…never again! Going forward I will travel to Portland if I want CFC. At least they smile and are friendly, the restaurant is clean, you can take your family out to eat there, you get naan bread with your meal, and the prices are not ridiculous.

So a major plus is there are not many places that are open this late. Chicken was good , crispy, greasy and salty . Atmosphere was eh, a few Lewiston locals late at night can be entertaining. Now I almost got ran over by someone rushing to park on the side walk where I was walking to get in . The driver ran in a hurry. Did not apologize but at least he opened the door for me. There was one customer in particular that was acting strange but again it was 1 am in Lewiston. The young fellow who took my order seemed really busy and seemed confused on if there was enough chicken for my order. Going back and forth with an older lady and took my 20 dollars for a 5 piece chicken meal. , Comes with fries and a roll. It took a awhile for me to get my order due to what I thought was the fries. The older woman working in the back was quite and when asked if I could purchase a half a order of biryani . She looked like she was going to say yes but the young kid said no way. I grabbed my box from the lovely lady and paid the young guy a few dollars for my almonds and left . Got in the car and only was given my chicken. So I pretty much spent 5 dollars for each piece. I was already having a rough evening and it topped it off. I was just curious to why the young gentleman who took my order and my money let me walk away without my full order? Could of been an honest mistake and reminds me to always check your order before leaving a place.

Went in for a fast dinner to take home. First of all it was boiling hot in the dining area and the worker acted like it was an inconvenience to serve me. Did not understand what a lamb gyro with extra sauce was. They didn’t have any lamb and the extra sauce I got when I opened the bag at home was sweet and sour sauce not gyro sauce!! The chicken was hard as a rock and it almost broke off my dog’s tooth! They said it would be 10 minutes it took 25!! And the food tasted like it had been cooked an hour before. The lettuce on the gyro was brown. The cheese sticks tasted like they were cooked in old fish fry oil. Will never go here again!
