The Tom’s Pastrami banh mi is amazing! Not only was the pastrami extremely tender and flavorful, the Vietnamese mayo, paté, and pickled fresh veggies made it a great marriage of cultures. Fantastic, delicious and messy in a good way. Order the half – it will be more than enough.

Gold Banh, a new Banh mi spot that opened within the already cemented Loose Leaf Boba Co. I ordered their pastrami banh mi (half lb.) and a pork belly summer roll (not pictured). The summer roll was pretty good and fairly sized. The banh mi is really what I came for and I have to say I was disappointed. Many have boasted about it which is what prompted me to try it, so maybe my expectations were high..but it just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The sandwich has all the fixings of a banh mi with pastrami as its main protein. It was quite messy and I felt there was just too much going so it was really hard to distinguish any particular flavor. The pastrami itself was tender and great when I had pieces that fell from the sandwich however, all the added condiments kinda drowned it out. I was only able to finish about half mostly because it just felt like too much.
Service was a little slow, but they have disclaimers to let you know since they’re in the midst of their soft opening. Space is a little tight although, to be fair they were solely a drink shop beforehand. Even then, they were pretty efficient for only having one dude making all the food. I’ll likely go back to try at least their original banh mi (cold cuts), otherwise I wasn’t really impressed this time around.

Amazing food. The pastrami bahn mi is to diiiiiiieeee for one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Give them a little bit of time when you order.They are still trying to figure out their flow. No online ordering available at this time. The line was totally worth the wait!!

Soft opening. We ordered 1/2 pound pastrami banh mi and Saigon special. Oh my… these sandwiches were so delicious. Pastrami was moist and tender. Well balanced with pickled vegetables. The Saigon special is their take on traditional bang mi. Both baguette were nicely toasted. Highly recommended

The Pastrami was so fresh and delicious! The banh mi itself was especially crafted with care. Soft open in LB so there was a long wait for service. Looseleaf coffee shop was amazing too with lots of unique flavors. I’m coming back!

Pastrami Bahn is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! A MUST TRY. My daughter had a Non- Contagious sore throat and had the strawberry smoothie. She said it was soo good and very soothing. I will go back for more. STAFF IS FANTASTIC!!!!

The people giving the food less than 4 stars are just here to complain. The food is good, going back to get the pastrami banh mi again and again. Meat is tender, flavors are bright, and the bread has a great crunch.
