Really disappointed by their to-go service. I ordered a rose dukbokki to-go and when I opened the food, the visual looks like somebody ate off of this plate and I got the left over. I can’t believe I paid $12 for this and I lost my appetite.
I called the restaurant back and they said that “their packaging has gotten bigger but the portions are the same.” Ok but the visual makes me not want to eat this.
I love rose dukbokki and Kimchi Box but I don’t think I would want to order this again.

Bibimbap dish is so delicious. Egg, bulgogi beef, comes with 12 items you can tailor to what you want on it. Japchae noodles are so yummy. My daughter really likes them too. She has got many different dishes and appetizers. I prefer your ordered online then to use their kiosk inside. The only drag is the parking. Can be a challenge depending on the time of day.

Had been a fan of this place, however, recently I’m seeing the problem with quality control. Ordered Kimbap then I figured that the rice tasted terrible. Partial is super runny, and some tasted uncooked. I have ordered this 10+ times and I can clearly tell when something is not right. 2-3 weeks ago, I ordered the same thing from the novi location and it tasted not fresh either. A big question mark about this brand.

I ordered a Royal Bulgogi Box which is supposed to come with “Bulgogi, Rice Cake, Rice, Kimchi, Eggs, Smashed Potatoes, Brown Sugar Sweet Potato”. It only came with bulgogi, iceburg lettuce, and japchae. This was not what I ordered and I when I called them they said their meals change frequently because they don’t always have things in stock…I would’ve preferred that they just canceled my order rather than giving me things I didn’t want.

Kimchi Box has very Authentic Korean dishes fermented Kimchi is great tasting, chicken wings have a 5 star worthy crunch and nice sized chicken for the price is for sure worth every dollar. Soy garlic sauce had the perfect balance of garlic butter sweetness complimenting the awesome chicken wings. The kimchi chicken sandwich was great ill definitely repeat my order. The japchae combo with pickled radishes and beef, packed with flavor and rice noodles had a delicious texture worth a trip for a pocket friendly lunch. In conclusion dining in could be somewhat difficult since there’s a limited space for the establishment being in one of those suites off Plymouth road, so if you don’t mind eating in the car go for it.

Tried the newly opened Kimchi Box near UMICH North Campus, a fast Korean food chain. Impressed by the speedy service – got our food in less than 10 minutes. However, the loud music inside disrupted conversations. Aside from that, enjoyed the excellent combination of side dishes and mains. Appreciated the option to get extra sauce on the side for free. Tried the spicy pork combo, loved the perfect balance of spiciness and savory flavors. Looking forward to trying the chicken and tteokbokki on my next visit!

First time visiting yesterday passed by multiple times tried the Korean fried chicken wings go spay garlic and Korean sassy first the flavors smelled fast tasted wonderful! But the best part was how crunchy and juicy the wings were amazing. My fiancée got the chicken sandwich in Korean sassy and she’s picky eater this place 10 out of 10 and she’s had plenty of other chicken sandwiches. Employees were helpful and the miso soup was great first time having tofu and that was a great way to experience it will definitely be back !

One of the locations for Kimchi Box in Ann Arbor. Each Kimchi Box has something different about each place. Korean hot dogs were hot and crunchy. I waited for about 10 mins for my food to arrive. I also got Korean Sassy boneless chicken bites. It has a little heat for those who don’t eat spicy very often. Get a Milkis to help with the heat. They have Pepsi products as well as Milkis. Lots of food choices. There is a small sitting area where you can meet someone to dine in or order a to go. I’d go back.

I ordered the popcorn chicken box with extra avocado. The chicken was okay… Very fried but lacking in flavor. Unfortunately, the avocado was hard and inedible, which was disappointing, especially after paying $2 extra for it. Overall, not a great experience, and I’m not sure I would order again.

(Background: My son is deathly allergic to sesame. We found out after he ate some tahini when he was 2 and ended up in the emergency room.)
I called ahead before placing an order for my birthday to ensure there weren’t allergens in our food. The manager kindly confirmed no egg or sesame in the chicken or sauces, but they put sesame seeds on top of the soy garlic wings. But I could add a memo requesting no sesame. I did this.
We got the wings for my birthday party, and no sesame seeds easily visible on top of the pile. Everyone is eating, and about halfway through sesame seeds everywhere. We then spent the last half of my birthday monitoring my son with an epi pen waiting for the possibilty that he will need to go to the hospital.
Thankfully he’s ok.
Seoul Street would never have done this. Their wings were better. Kimchi Box changed the recipes and while they’re still good, they’re not as good.
But never again will I order there for my family.
