Reviews
The large pizza seemed a little smaller than other pizza shops, but the quality toppings they use make up for it. Don’t need as much food when it is quality!
BBQ chicken had a BBQ sauce that was a little sweeter than I am used to, but I really enjoyed it!
The buffalo chicken pizza was also really good. It could have used a few more toppings, the chicken was pretty sparce. The flavor was great! It was just the right amount of spicy.
We also tried the half sheet pizza with pepperoni on sausage. Yummy!! Added the garlic butter sauce to it and it was a nice addition
Definitely will get their pizza again
First, the BYO ordering process is confusing. My father in law ordered online and mistakenly ordered a half Romeo Delux-when he went to add toppings after scrolling down and saw the toppings auto populated he didn’t realize it was only half. The wait time was 80 minutes listed and we were okay with that. It’s a Friday night, after all. It ended up coming in just over an hour.
Second-and here is the real issue-, the pizza arrived with only 3/10 pieces of pizza with toppings. So, not even half. When my father in law called the restaurant, the person who answered the phone -Brendan who states he is “one of the managers” was combative right from the start. My father in law offered to send a photo to show proof that only 3 slices had toppings. Brendan provided a phone number and my husband sent a photo. When Brendan picked the phone back up he said that that was half. (I get that the math education system in this country is abysmal, but even visually it isn’t half.)
I know this is a common line in bad reviews, but I’ve worked in customer service for 20 years. Seriously. 14 of those years in restaurants. The argument from the manager is unacceptable. There was no apology, no “I see what you’re saying” no anything other than “that is half”. My father in law asked to speak to a superior manager and was denied. He ended the call with no resolution and apparently the other manager, Shawn, was “on the phone with his boss”. We all know how that goes.
There are so few places that deliver to his house, so it’s pretty disappointing that this was his first experience. We all understand a bad day and that things move in transit, but it’s the customer service that was truly baffling. Plus this one large pizza cost 23.42 including tip.
Great location, great customer service, alright pizza.
I’ll definitely continue supporting the individually owned local favorites.
