Update: been a while since I visited this location. Nothing much has changed. Seems a bit cleaner. People were not very friendly, but the bread is good.

This review wouldn’t be based on the bakery of goods, but more on the service side being provided.
First, avoid the early morning, It seems that one would wait more due to the antiquated use of resources they employ, i.e., (push button cash register) instead of modern equipment. 2nd, they only really take cash. They charge 45cents for a card transaction. Third, it took me 20 min to check out with 7 people waiting behind me, all because the cashier or attendant wasn’t prepared or exercised slow attentiveness to their duties.
Now, bakery goods are actually made with a distinctive taste of home. Very good quality. Fresh in the morning.

Variety of pan dulce. My only complaint was the conchas that were still on baking rack. The bread was already hard. Disappointed

Rude unfriendly the cashier in the morning old mid 50 lady seems bad attitude a lot of people go here have stated as well . Stop coming here La Reyna has good fresh bread not dry bread like this places. I wonder how they have so many stars and reviews it most be there own family rating this place . All the neighborhood around just complains of their bad service. Can’t appreciate they’re in business because people buy. At least treat people with respect.

The bakery is amazing. Got two cream rolls today, and was so surprised. Very good dough and filling was so creamy. Decor is nice to, chocolate and strawberries. The service is very nice too. Friendly staff. Will be going back!

Worst place to come to bread is nasty and hard. My bread tasted like playdoh and I bought some churros they were hard as a rock. Blonde lady that works there is rude and a lazy worker she put my bread in a ripped bag and looked at me when I told her if I could get another bag. Would not recommend coming here waist of time and money!

Horrible dry bread, the lady wouldn’t refund or give me a fresh one.
They were selling a ton of bags of dry stale bread wasted. She argued that it was just as good as the ones nobody’s buying ?
I will not buy or let my family purchase from this store ever.
DISGUSTING!!!

I have been coming to this bakery for years. I lived in Fullerton for about 5 years when I was younger and this was always my family’s go to spot for any fresh Mexican bread or for any birthday cakes. I believe they changed ownership about 4-5years ago, but nonetheless the quality of the bread has not changed.

We used to visit every year to purchase their mocha tres leche cakes. They’re delicious! There’s no point in purchasing a dry tres leches cake and they don’t skimp on the milk portion of it!

Their bread is delicious as well. They always have delicious pastries with a fresh creamy custard filling. Plus they have a huge selection of Mexican pastries.

They might not have state of the art equipment or the highest of service, but the owner is very down to earth and their food is as authentic as it gets.

I stopped by around 6:20 am…after going to Coin Laundry. I wanted to get some pastries for my wife and kids. As soon as I walked in, I can hear 2 hispanic guys talking/gossiping (bakers). There was a woman sitting in the office. I assume she was the owner/cashier. There were a lot of pastries lined up next to that office. Pastries were cooling off? Anyway, I picked few items and went to pay. The only reason why I am giving this place 3 Stars…the trays were not wiped down after each customers and she did not wash her hands (although she did use the tongs)…she touched money too…no gloves. Pastries were good.
