The location was easy to find. Lots of parking. Great customer service and the food was delicious. You have to try their guava cake it’s so good. Will go there again.

If you’re looking for the BEST Hawaiian food in all of Utah, stop scrolling and go straight to this place. The food was unreal — especially the teriyaki chicken, which we HIGHLY recommend. It was perfectly grilled, super flavorful, and honestly the best I’ve ever had.

But what really sets this restaurant apart is the service. Everyone was friendly and fast, but the coolest part was when the owner, Stevie, actually walked up to our table, sat down with us, and had a full-on fun conversation. He wasn’t rushing, he wasn’t trying to impress — he genuinely cared about our experience and made us feel like family. You don’t get that kind of personal touch anywhere else.

Amazing food, unbelievable service, and a vibe you can’t beat. If you want authentic, delicious Hawaiian flavor, this is THE place. 10/10 — we’ll definitely be back!

The food was pretty good but not mind blowing. Pretty comparable to Mo Bettahs, though they did have more options.
We liked the guava cake. Good portion size for the price. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Like other reviews say, it does have a faint sewage smell, but other than that, the restaurant is super clean.

****UPDATE
Past month I’ve been here twice. I gave it another chance and it has been great both times!! I’ve updated my reviews to match. Food has been good, music playing, received in a timely matter, great customer service, clean and nice !

I really wanted to like this place. I was craving Kalbi ribs and decided to stop by, excited to discover another Hawaiian spot in Orem. The restaurant was clean, and the cashier was kind, though not particularly helpful. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in a few areas.

The wait was longer than expected—about 25 minutes for just two plates. During that time, another customer came in and waited just as long for their order. Meanwhile, there was a shift change, and the new cashier seemed more focused on asking the cooks to make her a plate because she was hungry, rather than prioritizing getting customer orders out. This caught me off guard.

The food itself was okay—not terrible, but not memorable enough to bring me back. The Kalbi ribs were very chewy, though the Katsu was good. The overall atmosphere felt lacking, as there was no music playing. I think some island or reggae music would have helped create a better vibe, especially during the long wait.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, especially after reading some great reviews, but both my husband and I left feeling underwhelmed. Perhaps it was just an off day, but unfortunately, we can’t see ourselves returning.

Overall, it’s decent food but overpriced for what you get.

– Great atmosphere
– Great service
– A little pricey (a small meal is $10.25, regular size is $13-17)
– Chicken musubi has very little chicken, the spam has a decent amount.
-Sauce was good

Food was bomb. Katsu Chicken and sauce tasted just like the Katsu Chicken back in Hawaii. The guava cake is so moist and taste so good like homemade. My husband met the owner and he was so kind! Please come and support it was really good! We love it! And they are not skimpy with the portions!

You can’t go wrong by going here. New restaurant on the block, but it has delicious meat and a great interior design. They nailed the beachy vibe really well they might have best atmosphere out of the regional Hawaiian places. Anyway I don’t usually see “Hawaiian bbq chicken” on the menu at these Hawaiian places so I tried it and it was super good. Definitely invite anyone to come try

Cute little place , took my sister here to explore a new Hawaiian restaurant . Loved the BOGO musugi on Monday ! I hate to say this , but the reason this is not a 5 start review is your employees don’t understood English very well, we were double charged for our musugi . It was to much of a hassle to communicate the fix as she gal was not understanding us . So we just bit the bullet . Great food , just needs employees that are invested in the experience or simply have better English skills .
